COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our brewers wanted to make a beer that went down easy after a day out on the water. Big Wave Golden Ale is just the ticket. Big Wave is a lighter bodied golden ale with a tropical hop aroma and flavor – a smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The use of caramel malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and our special blend of hops provides bright quenching finish. 10.3°

Malts: Pale (Premium 2-Row), Caramel
Hops: Galaxy, Citra

Big wave pours an apple juice amber hazy with almost no head. the Nose is just a slight hint of spruce hops. taste is faint hops on the finish. Prior to that it is a bit of metallic and maybe a bit of peach. Body is indistinct. Overall a bit more than I was expecting for this beer, as i was expecting a bud clone. Though, this beer falls far short of impressive.

Pours a clear golden with a fairly big white head. However, because the bead of the bubbles is large, the head begins to dissipate rather quickly. Aroma is mown grass that has mulched and rotted just a tad. Taste is grassy and malty with just a bit of funk related to the oddness of the aroma. Refreshing enough, but not a quality summer ale.

When poured there was not much head. Aroma of the beer smells good. I did not detect much flavor while I was drinking however I would drink it if it were on tap

Free six pack from a work function...Aroma was of light hops. From the smell I thought this would be a solid beer. Unfortunately, I was wrong. For me, this was too watery. The hops hit you a bit at first, but then it fades into nothingness. It reminded me of one of those fake "Craft" beers that Budweiser produces.
