COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our brewers wanted to make a beer that went down easy after a day out on the water. Big Wave Golden Ale is just the ticket. Big Wave is a lighter bodied golden ale with a tropical hop aroma and flavor – a smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The use of caramel malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and our special blend of hops provides bright quenching finish. 10.3°

Malts: Pale (Premium 2-Row), Caramel
Hops: Galaxy, Citra

pours clear gold with a smallish white head. aroma is floral with a hint of citrus. Tastes clean and refreshing with a little hoppiness on the finish, but not bitter. I would definitely drink this again.

Clear gold with small, short lived head. The aroma has some sweet malt and a bit of citrusy hops. The flavor is pretty much the same. Doesn’t finish very crisp, has a lot of lingering sweetness, does have a somewhat bland flavor.

Golden beer, small white head. Nose is caramel sweetness, malt, tropical fruit, hops, perfume. Flavor is malts, fruity perfume, dry finish with delicate hoppy bitterness. Light and easily drinkable. Not too shabby.

Free beer. Gets me my 39th state rating. Not a blonde ale fan. This didn’t change my mind. Pours straw color. Highly carbonated with a bitter bite. Bottle - Source Unknown

Pours a clear light gold with a decent head. Aroma is very faint of grassy hops and light malt really not much aroma. Taste follows the aroma. Very light beer for an ale. I was expecting A bit more flavor. A bit more flavorful after warming Up a bit I’ve had lagers with much more flavor and character Than this. Great for a hot day or a session beer. Or if you like light beer.

Drank from a bottle at a bar. The taste is quite subtle, could be a bit stronger. Not bad though.

12 oz. Clear golden with a lasting film of foam. Big nose of catspray and grapefruit. Taste is grapefruit, toast and a bit of caramel. Light-medium body is dry and astringent, with medium-high carbonation. Nice for the boring style, but seems almost in APA territory which is fine with me.

Clear bubbly gold, nice white head, plus a bonus appearance point for the cool bottle. Smells crisp and toasty, with some grassy notes. Taste is biscuit and grassy hops, plus a bit of stale notes creeping in.

From the bottle, pool side in Kona. Easy drinking golden ale. Some light bitter citrus notes with a balance of sweetness. Mildly refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
