hopdog (4950), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA May 16, 2004 Amber in color with a small head. Hoppy aromas with a light malty taste and hoppy finish. Nothing special. Ernest (4324), Boulder, Colorado, USA Dec 12, 2002 Updated: Dec 31, 2003Draught. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cookie, grain), lightly hoppy (flowers, herbs), lightly yeasty (dough). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, lightly acidic, slightly unclean/husky. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Decent enough balance, but not exactly the most polished execution, which left my glass unfinished. heemer77 (3955), Savannah, Missouri, USA Feb 20, 2006 For my dad. The body was dark gold with a very thin white head. The aroma had sweet pears with a little caramel and hay. The taste had caramel, tea and some honey. There was also some cardboard. This was ok, but I would like to try a fresher sample. beerguy101 (3608), Newark, California, USA May 21, 2003 Medium gold color, slightly hazy. Small head. Aroma is grainy and sweet. A medium bodied golden ale. Malts are mild and slightly sweet. Hops are mild, slightly spicy. Flavor is slightly sweet, and kind of grainy. A touch harsh tasting. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and harsh. Aftertaste is slightly bitter and grainy. Braudog (3464), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Oct 4, 2003 Orange-yellow with a thin tacky top. Gristy and malty with light fresh tartness. Pretty good.
