COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our brewers wanted to make a beer that went down easy after a day out on the water. Big Wave Golden Ale is just the ticket. Big Wave is a lighter bodied golden ale with a tropical hop aroma and flavor – a smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The use of caramel malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and our special blend of hops provides bright quenching finish. 10.3°

Malts: Pale (Premium 2-Row), Caramel
Hops: Galaxy, Citra

Well, it's definitely a golden ale. Fruity aroma, very light in hops but has a nice crispness to the finish. Overall a light beer, but I imagine it would be quite enjoyable on a hot summer day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

[7410-20150728] Tap. Fruity citrus hops aroma with a touch of biscuit. Clear, pale orange yellow body with a quick foamy white head and some light lacing. Light-medium body. Good, refreshing. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4

Acceptable beer when given no other options. Slight tropical fruit notes, I noticed some grape like flavor that was nice.

Pours golden orange with a half finger white head which fades to just a little lacing. Aroma is of bready malts, biscuit malts, citrus, light pine, light grass, and light sweet malts. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium-light body with a semi watery mouthfeel and a semi dry, slightly bitter, medium finish. Overall, a rather average blonde ale.

Bottle at home. Low fluffy and quickly disappearing white head. Clear amber golden good looking body. Sweet and mild tropical fruit aroma. Mild fruity but not especially sweet malt caramel flavor with a nice hops bitterness, high carbonation and a long bittersweet finish.

12 fl oz bottle. Clear golden yellow, fading white foam. Promising tropical fruity aroma. Taste is mild tropical fruity hops, lean slightly sweet c-malt, clean, easy and sessional, aqueous finish. Softer carbonation, light bodied, lightly hopped. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

Had a couple of these on tap at Benson’s in Walker. Nice creamy malt base yet still light a crisp. Good stuff.

From bottle on board Fridtjofen 15.07.15. Slightly hazy golden. Diminishing white head. Some lacing. Aroma of Amerincan hops, citrus, peach, papaya, other tropical fruits and almonds. Similar taste. Quite complex, while still retaining good drinkability.
