Our brewers wanted to make a beer that went down easy after a day out on the water. Big Wave Golden Ale is just the ticket. Big Wave is a lighter bodied golden ale with a tropical hop aroma and flavor Ė a smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The use of caramel malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and our special blend of hops provides bright quenching finish. 10.3į

12oz bottle from Binnyís Lakeview. Pours a crystal clear, straw colored body with a finger-width, foamy and frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma has a nice, fresh, crisp grassy and pine hopping with a pleasant grapefruit note. Light, grainy pale malt note behind the hops. Flavor isnít as crisp and clean, but itís alright. Some grassy citrus notes with a light pine and a grainy, somewhat bready, lightly sweetened pale malt backing. FInishes lightly bitter and mostly dry with some biscuity notes alongside a few citruses. Medium length aftertaste following a light body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent golden ale. The aroma was pretty solid and this remained easy drinking and quaffable. Not bad.

American Blonde Ale style beer that is smooth and lightweight with tropical aroma and hoppy flavoring. A lighter alcohol content weighed in at 4.4% with overall a pleasant citrus taste. Available in draft and bottle form.

Bottle from Greg (gregwilson) -- cheers! Amazingly bland, like a Budweiser bottle wearing a fancy label. Thereís really very little to comment on here -- itís light, crisp, and it tastes generally like beer. Itís technically an ale, but it could definitely pass as a lager. Not bad, per se, just eminently forgettable.

Color is light gold. Clear and filtered. Aroma is faint. Hints of malt and grains. Taste is light and crisp. Hints of hops, malt, and grains. Smooth. Not overpowering. Mouthfeel is light and there is very little aftertaste. Does not linger. *12 oz bottle into pint glass ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
