On tap @ the brewpub. Heart roast profile, bitter coffee and cocoa, dry finish witha modest bitter bite. The hops are lost somewhat in the hard roast flavours, but still a highly enjoyable porter.

Average. Mild bitterness. Not very sweet at all. Mainly a bold, espresso roast flavor throughout. Rich coffee taste.

On tap at the brewery, served in a tasting glass. Pours a hazy dark chocolate colour, with a small light brown head that fades to a thin remnant and leaves no lace. The nose has big notes of deep roasted coffee, smoke and chocolate along with medium herbal hops. The flavour is medium-dry with lots of smokey, roasted malts, chocolate, coffee. Soft herbal hops are present as well. The finish is long and roasty-herbal. On the palate it is medium in body with a dryish texture and soft carbonation. Overall, this is a nice dry porter with nice roasted malts. 2013-08-10

Tap at Kona Brewpub Honolulu. Roasted malt and nutty aroma with coffee and chocolate notes. Pours black with a light brown head and excellent lacing. Nutty and roasted malt flavors to start. Finishes very smooth with subtle coffee notes and a lot of chocolate that lingers on the palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at Kona Brewing Company - KoKo Marina Pub, 6.3% ABV
Dark brown color, with red shades, and creamy beige head. It had some aroma of roasted malts, coffee, dust. Dry mouthfeel, with strong flavor of roasted malt and some coffee, no chocolate; the bitterness seems to come from the roastiness.
More Stout than Porter, fairly brewed anyway.
