On tap at the 10th Annual San Diego Strong Ale Festival: Pours an opaque black with a nicely-lacing dense frothy dark tan head. Aroma is reminiscent of maple-syrup on waffles with a touch of burnt toast and coffee beans. Body starts sweet, viscous and caramely with some chocolate cookie dough and molten espresso beans. Has a smooth, slightly warming dark chocolate finish with a touch of vanilla bourbon. Nicely balanced, complex and enjoyable.

Yay this ones finally up! :) Had it at the Strong Ale SD Fest at PP in December. Lots of kona coffee, lots of dark chocoalte, and a hint of some coconut oil or pineapple. fruity light hints, all tropical. smells a lot like chocolate tanning lotion. damn good.
