COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-bodied, American-Style I.P.A. that is bronze in color, Castaway IPA is "dry hopped" (aged with liberal amounts of whole hop flowers after fermentation) for assertive hop flavor and aroma. The bitterness is balanced by the malty body of the beer.

Draught @ The Green Room. Clear dark amber color with medium sized creamy off-white head, piney hops aroma, medium carbonation, slightly sweet hoppy taste, long piney finish. Very refreshing.

(Bottle). One of my picks for the St. Ceasaro party. Smooth and mellow but a tasty IPA that works well in summer. Easily pairs with food. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Heavenly golden appearance... not much head to speak of. Smell of floral notes and bread. Taste is strong of bread w/ some honey. It’s OK.

A few 12oz bottles at the beach. Poured a light golden color with a small white head. Aroma was some light tropical fruit notes, floral hops, light bitter hop character. Flavor was light, sweet malts, light juicy fruit character. Pretty tasty!

Aroma of hops and some citrus. About a finger’s head that dissipates quickly. Taste is somewhat thin and doesn’t really taste like anything other than bitter hops. I’m sure that this is a good beer for some people, but it just ain’t happening for me.

Bottle. Orange-golden in color and clear with a white smooth but fast vanishing head. The aroma is a tropical fruit blast with mango, passion fruit and melon embedded in slight notes of caramel. Light sweet and pleasantly bitter without being to brutal. In the mouth is also a tropical fruit basket, however, notes of pine and spices as well as some toasty malts join in and contribute to a quite complex flavor. This flavor is well balanced within a medium body and medium carbonation. After the nice bitter finish were pine and spice become stronger, the Castaway leases one with a long-lasting and pleasant bitter-tropical aftertaste. Great beer and definitely recommended.
