A full-bodied, American-Style I.P.A. that is bronze in color, Castaway IPA is "dry hopped" (aged with liberal amounts of whole hop flowers after fermentation) for assertive hop flavor and aroma. The bitterness is balanced by the malty body of the beer.

The head is medium, the body gold. It smells fruity, hoppy, pine, maracuja, refreshing. The taste is hoppy, aromatic, fruity, a bit bitter, ok body. Bit strange in the aftertaste. Overall nice beer from Hawaii!

Rated on 9-10-2014 (Bottle) When poured, this beer forms a smooth white head, transparent yellow body, fast rising carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is citrus, grassy, hops, grapefruit, and light malt. The flavor is moderately bitter citrus, grassy hops, fruity, earthy, and light malt. This beer’s mouthfeel is lively and this beer is medium bodied. This is a hop head beer so if you enjoy drinking hoppy tasting beer, try this one. It is too hoppy, bitter tasting for my personal liking, but is worth trying.

Flaska på BottleRock LA. Ljusgul utan skum. För kall, ingen doft. Smakar lite tropisk frukt och humlebeska.

It's okay. Not the best IPA. I like this brewery though and most of the beers they put out.

Bright orange beer with a thin foamy bright white head. Pleasant nose of hay, new mown grass, and sweet resin. Flavor is consistent with the aroma, although the resinous quality is a bit stronger with the grassy flavors in support. It’s actually not as bitter as most IPAs, but still true to the style. Good beer.

Orange amber, decent head and lacing. Some off putting metallic tastes up front. Rich flavor layer profile. Toasty, piny, resins. Need to revisit this one and update my review. Bottle stamped: 08/25/14 (Best buy or bottled on date?) Consumed on: 11/08/14 $9.99/multi sixer at Wegmans, Leesburg VA

12oz bottle - Aroma - pineapples, citrus, toffee with some light mineral water notes. Appearance - clear amber body with a 1-finger off-white head, some retention Mouthfeel - medium carbonation, medium bodied, slightly puckering Flavor - decent hop profile, but its definitely malt forward. The hops really shine on the back end with a long finish. Overall - Super nice at a really right price, you don’t see many IPA sixers selling for under $8.00 and this was at $7.99. Nothing fancy, just a clean tasting, malt forward IPA that pretty standard.

An orange amber body with a white head that had mild retention. Aroma was a typical mix of citrus and pine. There were subtle notes of mango and maybe citronella. Flavor was mildly sweet upfront. Hops were mostly grapefruit but with just enough pine. Nice bitter finish and slightly dry. Moderate mouth feel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
