COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-bodied, American-Style I.P.A. that is bronze in color, Castaway IPA is "dry hopped" (aged with liberal amounts of whole hop flowers after fermentation) for assertive hop flavor and aroma. The bitterness is balanced by the malty body of the beer.

Tap. Nice citrus nose with some peanuts and dough. Bright nlbrass colored body and a white head. Taste of mild dough and oranges. Floral notes and nuts are present but muted. A decent middle of the road IPA.

0,355 l bottle in Hamburg. Pale golden color, long lasting foamy white head. Whole lots of floral and fruity (predominantly citrus orange and sweetish exotic fruit) aromas upfront that get topped off with a dry hoppy finish, but then, with a much lower intensity compared to other IPAs. Incredibly smooth, a perfect companion to pleasantly warm summer evenings. A mighty fine IPA.

Bottle from Glug, Newcastle. Pale golden coloured with a thin white head. It has a strong pineapple and pine flavour with citrus and a malty and rich pine finish. Superb!

Missus brought this back from Safeway and I was skeptical at first. Surprisingly light beer with sweet aroma & nice florals and long clean finish. Malt is easy on the palate. Just finished one and I’ll have another. Good session beer?

Bottle. Hazy copper with a small white head. Nose has tropical fruits; apricot, peach, passion fruit. Flavour Falls Flat, the hops are kept behind notes of cardboard, dried green plants, earth, wood. Medium body, some sweetness, fine carbonation, bitter astringent finish. Four months old and this doesn’t seem to be in good condition, but it is a long journey from Hawaii to Denmark. Not so bad it makes me give up drinking, everyone should be fucking wasted all the time. DRINK! DRINK!

Bottle. Aroma pf piney hops, low level as the bottle is not super fresh. In taste medium sweet, piney with medium bitterness. Decent ipa.

Tried this with my pizza and really like so picked up a 6’er. Very clean IPA, citrus, slightly bitter but not like many IPA’s today. This is almost session able. Great summer or warm weather IPA.

Draught @ The Green Room. Clear dark amber color with medium sized creamy off-white head, piney hops aroma, medium carbonation, slightly sweet hoppy taste, long piney finish. Very refreshing.

(Bottle). One of my picks for the St. Ceasaro party. Smooth and mellow but a tasty IPA that works well in summer. Easily pairs with food. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
