A full-bodied, American-Style I.P.A. that is bronze in color, Castaway IPA is "dry hopped" (aged with liberal amounts of whole hop flowers after fermentation) for assertive hop flavor and aroma. The bitterness is balanced by the malty body of the beer.

Fluffy white head and a beautiful golden color. Lots of little bubbles streaming up. Very smooth with just a little bitter taste on the back end of it. This is honestly the first IPA ive liked, and would recommend this to anybody else who wants to get into IPAs.

I had it on tap. It pours a golden color with a white head and nice lacing. The aroma is hops, floral, and fruit. The taste is hops and fruit hints. Its low on carbonation and smooth. This is pretty good.

Bottle. Golden/orange colour with white quickly falling head. Aroma hops, some fruits - orange, pine, a bit peach, maybe tangerine. Orange zest. Caramel malts and some a bit nutty tones in aroma. Taste hops, citrus fruits - orange, tangerine. Peach. Bitterness in quite good balance with sweetness of caramel malts. Bitter aftertaste. Good.

This is what I mean when I say IPA. Like the Lucille's, Boneyards, and others who balance the floral elements of the hop with a bit of bitterness, this beer is outstanding. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
