COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-bodied, American-Style I.P.A. that is bronze in color, Castaway IPA is "dry hopped" (aged with liberal amounts of whole hop flowers after fermentation) for assertive hop flavor and aroma. The bitterness is balanced by the malty body of the beer.

Pours a nice clear light honey color with a 2 finger head. Aroma of citrus, and sweet tropical fruit. Flavor matches with addition of light maltyness and a bit of pine. Very refreshing.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized light white colored bubbles that were and left behind a softly carbonated transparent light orange colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The weak aroma was hoppy. The crisp clean mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish hoppy aftertaste. The semi-sharp flavor contained notes of hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

Mild apple, honey. Fruity tropical hops, dry pine, dry hoppy finish. hmm fruitiness is wasted by the sharp dry finish, quite a disappointment.

A nice refreshing IPA nutty fruity aroma, with a pure white long lasting head on top of a golden body. Medium bitter taste with just the right amount of sweetness. Medium body for an IPA but would par well with many foods and a long finish. Gave this an above average but not killer score.

Bottle. Pours hazy straw with thin head. Both the aroma and flavor have tropical fruit aroma, and actually works for this style. Dry bitter finish and it’s crips and refreshing. Not bad for a bad brewery.

Bottle. Gold clear lasting thin white head. Fresh hops aroma. Fresh tasty tropical fruits too. Malts are there and fine and keep the hops in check. Some mild bitterness on the finish. Lovely fresh hoppy IPA. Really good IPA.

Bottle:   Soft IPA, very little bitterness, clean, more of a PNW Pale Ale type.   Orangish, soft foamy white head, little lacing.   Musty IPA nose, soft, a little sweaty.   Citrusy on the tongue, but bitterness is minor.   Tiz clean tho.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Mild to moderate sweetness.   Not much punch, sweeter than most.   Pedestrian example, but clean.   Easy drinking at least.

GBBF Day 1. Bottle share. Almost clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, semi dry and crisp. Light pale malts. Floral tones. Nice lemon led citric hops blend well with floral flavours. Light crisp finish. Nice.
