COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-bodied, American-Style I.P.A. that is bronze in color, Castaway IPA is "dry hopped" (aged with liberal amounts of whole hop flowers after fermentation) for assertive hop flavor and aroma. The bitterness is balanced by the malty body of the beer.

Draft at world of beers. Orange with white head. Fruity tropical goodness. Nothing special but great to drink

Unclear medium amber with a pretty good frothy white head. Super fruity aroma, tropical, mango, peach. Caramel. Flavor much the same but not as distinct. Medium plus body. Kinda chewy. Mild bitterness and dryness. Good overall. I liked it.

12 oz single bought from Roths Sunnyslope Market in S.Salem. $1.67 Clear orange coloured beer with a large thick, bubbly light cream coloured head.’ Very fruity hop aroma here..almost berry like in scent!, caramel fudge malts in the back..finished with papya . Again the taste is very fruity bitter sweet.Lemon zest hops.. Mouth feel is fine about average for style. Odd but OK IPA

Much more full on than you would expect from these guys. Big tropical fruit nose, solid malt backbone, perhaps a tad too heavy, vut nice big fruity finish. Well made and a bit of a surprise.

Draft. Nose is very tropical and slightly piney with a touch of dank. Pour is a clear golden color with minimal head. Taste is a lightly creamy hopsicle. This is actually one if the better Kona beers I’ve had.

Draft pours copper with thick white head. Aroma is hoppy from 2 feet away! Citrus, resin, malt, tropical fruit. T: citrus, malt, resin, caramel. Mid light finish with a smooth bitter finish. Pretty solid.

Light golden amber color. Clean, light hoppy nose. The mouth is hop driven with little malt backbone. A touch of pale malt, fruity hops. Simply, clean, easy drinking IPA

Meh...more like a pale ale than an IPA. Great for a hot day or lawnmower beer. Aroma was pretty weak. A little skunky with stale hops. Pour was a nice light gold with a one finger white head. Taste was kind of bland. Very watery in the front with a bitter (not necessarily hoppy) finish.. Nice strong biting carbonation saved this beer.

Tap. Pours clear amber with thin white head that lasts and laces. Smells of pine, biscuit, tropical fruit, and bread. Drinks with a moderate hop bite and moderate lingering bitterness. Medium bodied. Tastes of pine with earthy and floral hop notes. Balanced. Finishes with lingering hop notes.
