On tap at Kona’s main brewery. Very weak offering, totally uninteresting and nothing to really enjoy. I’ll pass on this one next time to the Big Island.

A great pale ale very smooth and refreshing. Malt is not over powering. Very enjoyable

Draft. Amber beer with a whitish head. Light malt aroma. Malt and light grain flavor. Medium bodied. Easy drinking. Malt and light grain lingers with light woodsiness.

Tap @ their Honolulu Pub... Poured clear, pale golden with a white head. Very light, crackery malt, oats, faintly hopped with lemon tones and candied sweetness.

Draft. Aroma has notes of cereal malts and a little citrus. Pale golden hue with avg white head. Malty sweet with a little bitterness. Watery avg carbo. Overall a macro tasting brew. Meh

On tap @ Kona pub, Oahu. Typical nice, light Blonde. Very light, crisp and drinkable and a fair amount of flavor. Great warm weather beer.

On draft at Kona location on Oahu. This is their lightest offering, or at least it was that day. Very bland in color, aroma, and flavor. It must be there to accommodate tourists that don’t appreciate craft beer. Completely lackluster.

Gold pour with creamy white head and lace. Sweet malt aroma with a hint of paper. Semi sweet malt flavor with a very light bitter. Thin and slightly over carbonated.

Draft at Marina Pub. Pours a clear light golden with a small fizzy head. Smells like pee...? sour grain.... weird. Worty grainy dry lacking flavor, light esters, bit sour... Dry and gritty.

Quite pale, gold, not much there, a bit of a wheaty or grainy nose and body. Wish I had more to say than ’don’t bother’!

Tap at the brewpub. I actually thought this one was pretty decent. Light hay, crisp lettuce aroma. A bit of green olive when swirled. Very light, clean, drinkable body, with no off notes.
