Keg at Leilani’s on the Beach, Kanapali, 26/04/14. Clear light golden with a moderate off white swirl. Nose is pale malts, clean tasting, citric tinges, grassy. Taste comprises light vanilla, citric zing, light bread dough, straw, trace of caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp clean close. So so affair, I didn’t come all the way to fucking Maui to tick golden fucking blondes, and boring ones at that!

Draft at Duke’s in Waikiki. Clear pale gold with a short white head. Saccharin and rice cake pale malt, DMS / creamed corn, cosmetics, little bit of fruit gum. Sweet with a light body, watery malt, starchy and husky smelling after it opens. Messy and simple. Pretty awful.
