Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Oct 4, 2003 Medium golden and moderately active, with a very thin head. Thin and just lightly malted in a koelsch-style, but with little distinctiveness. Still a good well-made micro. swanmann (244), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Mar 19, 2007 Tasters at the Honolulu location. Clear bright straw color with some greenish tones and thin white head. Slightly malty, yeasty aroma from what I can detect in those glasses. Bright citrus flavor with good bitters. No real finish, but a dry almost fluffy mouthfeel. BrewDad (1657), Olympia, Washington, USA Jan 23, 2008 Taster - Kona Brewing Co. - Koko Marina Pub - Honolulu, Hawaii
2008 – Great Hawaiian Beer Run
Aroma – A good use of light malts. This had an interesting aroma.
Appearance – Darker yellow in color, nice head and clear.
Flavor – A easy to drink blonde ale this was at least to say a good Blonde ale.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, good texture with a dry finish.
Overall – A very easy to drink ale The ladies will love this beer.
Gusler (2656), Tucson, Arizona, USA Dec 27, 2000 A fair beer, as its way to light and mild for me, but the average drinker will find it pleasant. malt s and hops well balanced but light. Aubrey (2592), Denver, Colorado, USA Jan 8, 2006 Draft at brewery: Golden and mostly clear; fading head but lace lingered a little. Lively carbonation; OK body/texture. Sweet grains accented by flowers (made me think of honeysuckle). Light and unexciting but surely drinkable.
