Fire Rock Pale Ale is a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Its signature copper color results from the unique blend of specialty roasted malts. The pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma comes from the liberal amounts of Galena, Cascade & Mt. Hood hops added to each brew.

Bottled. Pours a golden brown color. Aroma is sweet and a little malty. Hops are also present. A little sweet pine too. Fairly sweet right up front. A little bit of a hoppy maltiness as well. Not bad at all.

Pours coppery with an off white head. Smells of grapefuit and pine. Taste is on the watery side with some exaggerated orange extract elements. Bland and boring.

Bottle, pours light amber orange color with thin white head with some bubbles. Aroma is slight citrus hoppiness with some malty sweetness. Mild hop flavor, citrus. Definitely more malt than what I’m used to in a Pale. Flavor is fairly mild and tame. Thin and light mouthfeel. Finishes dry and bitter. If you are looking for an easy drinking Pale Ale, this is definitely it.

12oz. bottle. Dark orange-yellow with a small white head. Grassy, citrusy hop aroma with some malt sweetness. Cascade hop family citrus and resin characters. Residual fruitiness and bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel is light medium and fairly crisp.

Bottle, on the Island of Kauai. Lightly fruity, citrus aroma with a hint of minerals. Amber-orange with a thin, but lasting off-white head. Soft hop flavor with fruity hints, I want to say pineapple, but is that because I’m in Hawaii? Well balanced, enough malt to make it interesting. Medium-light body that feels fairly substantial for what it is.

12oz bottle, packaged on Sep 14 05. Orange/amber hue, slight white head diminishes...light carbonation. Sweet aroma of malt, a touch carmel, and orangey citrusy hops...a touch tropical? Middle of the road for bitterness in a pale...nice ligering mix of fruit and malt...on tap & in the bottle, this has been a solid pale ale while in HI...almost candied orange finish...quite enjoyable.

I really like this one more than their Longboard Lager. It has a great Hoppy flavor which is not to strong.Combined with a little fuit flavor mixed in and nice smooth malt to balance it out. I would choose this beer over a lot of others. It made not be the best beer I had but it is very drinkable something I could have again and again.

Nice pale ale. Verrrrrry nice...Deep, deep orange/copper color, with a smally small cream looking head. Mid medium flavor, not very strong, but a pretty good palate. A little bitter at the end, and the aftertaste lasts a good amount of time. A pretty average pale ale. Subtle hints of fruit. Reminds me of Sierra Nevada, maybe a little bit better. Kinda underrated in my opinion.

12 oz bottle via trade with FlacoAlto - Thanks Sebastian! - Pours a hazy amber with a short white head that hangs around. Aroma of grapefruit and floral hops and caramel malts. Flavor is fruity.. Notes of citrus, apricot, caramel and a bit of yeast. Palate is nice and balanced and smooth. I found this very drinkable and tasty.

Nice hazy copper color with a white head. Aroma of nutty munich sweet caramel malt, followed by a light floral hop. Good malty flavor, with significant hop bitterness, and mild hop flavor and yeast frutiness. The beer has decent body and handles the 6% pretty well. Overall the beer is pretty well made, it could be slightly better balanced and rides a fine line between APA and IPA.
