COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fire Rock Pale Ale is a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Its signature copper color results from the unique blend of specialty roasted malts. The pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma comes from the liberal amounts of Galena, Cascade & Mt. Hood hops added to each brew.

Pours dark orange with a medium head. Aroma: peach and ice tea, some pine tree and white fruit, some malty sweetness in the aroma. Taste: pretty malty in the first place, some nice bitterness comes out after a number of sips, medium carbonation. Nice aroma, just ok taste - a bit too malty and too few hopps used for the bitterness.

Moderately hopped, moderately sweet. Decent, widely-available pale ale, if nothing remarkable.

Pours Amber with frothy tan head. Aroma is piney citrus with smooth but pungent esters. Flavor is not overly bitter and has a good caramel biscuit malt body. Well rounded IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Rated based on notes taken 12 July 2012 -- It’s an okay beer that I think has declined in quality over the past couple of years. Or maybe my taste buds just like better beer now.

Bottle, 10C. Amber with an off-white head. Toasty aroma with caramel, dried peach, grass, light wafty citrus notes. A little soapy. Moderate carbonation, fairly heavy body for what it offers. Sweet caramel and bread, stone fruit, vague citrus and some pine and pepper at the end. Gentle bitterness, some sweetness hangs around. Pleasant, engaging beer.

demitriustown (1134) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - JUN 28, 2015
12 oz bottle: Aroma has got a nice floral, pine hop note with a substantial malt backing that is well balanced. Appearance is a clear Amber to almost brown with a thick white head that diminishes very slowly. Tasters very nice with the malt intermingled with the pungent pine like hops. Palate is medium carbonation with a light malt characteristic in the after taste. Overall, Some pretty darn good stuff. Cheers!
