COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fire Rock Pale Ale is a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Its signature copper color results from the unique blend of specialty roasted malts. The pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma comes from the liberal amounts of Galena, Cascade & Mt. Hood hops added to each brew.

35 cl bottle @ home. Pours clear amber with an off-white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma and flavour are caramel, toasted malt, and fruity hops - with a slightly bitter finish.

Aroma: caramel malts, light fruit notes. Appearance: clear amber to orange, medium white head. Taste: light sweet and bitter. Palate: sweets intensify, caramel, bread, fruit, some hoppy bitters appearing, average-long finish. Overall: nice APA, but does not stand out in this crowded style. Bottle at The Fine Line, Canary Wharf.

12 ounce bottle poured into a snifter. Pours a hazed copper with a beige head of foam. Decent retention. The aroma is fairly herbal with notes of green and earl grey teas. The malt body comes through about mid palate. Initially there is a bitterness, but that gives way to a bread sweetness, which dries out a bit in the finish. Light to medium bodied and lower carbonation.

Very fresh and a little sour APA. Easy to drink and citrus saturated that feels suited to a warmer climate.

I'm going to make a bold assumption: this is the Budweiser of Hawaii. I'm being a bit too snobbish...it's a good example of a pale ale. Strong, bold, meaty and signature. I would not buy a 6 or 12 of this to relax on the weekend. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice easy drinking pale ale, was hoping for more of a hop presence but very sessionable indeed. Very solid overall

Smakar tunt . Utlovad Pale Ale på eticketten men smakar som om de hällt i en deciliter Mariestad eller nån annan alkoläsk. Går dricka men ingen bra Pale Ale. La Gunitas Pale Ale är divisioner från denna.,

Bottle from Bierland Hamburg. Amber / dark orange color, small head, quite fizzy. Crisp and a bit spicy aromas of lemon and similar fruits topped with nice roasty caramel malt. Delicious and easy - drinkable.
