COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fire Rock Pale Ale is a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Its signature copper color results from the unique blend of specialty roasted malts. The pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma comes from the liberal amounts of Galena, Cascade & Mt. Hood hops added to each brew.

Fleeting head, amber in color with an escaping bitterness and a mild kiwi aroma. Nothing is glaringly wrong with this beer but nothing stands out either. Expect it to be drinkable but unremarkable.

Pours a dark copper from a bottle, aroma is a slightly citrusy hoppiness, flavor is the same, but not balanced out with anything. Okay beer.

355 ml bottle from a Hawaiian restaurant in Daikanyama. Served in a pint glass. Copper amber color with modest head. Bit of malts and apricot on the nose. Tastes more of the same with some caramel malt and a slight bit of fruit on the palate. Nice and refreshing. Fairly well-balanced. Nice malty dry finish.

This pours a semi-clear color with a slight off-white head. The aroma is slightly malty. The taste is bold with malts yet has quite a bite to it. Fairly easy drinking with a smooth flavor and a toasted finish. Quite nice overall.
