Fire Rock Pale Ale is a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Its signature copper color results from the unique blend of specialty roasted malts. The pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma comes from the liberal amounts of Galena, Cascade & Mt. Hood hops added to each brew.

Bottle 0.355 l. Orange with copper color, minimal head, floral, fruity and citrus aroma. Sweet tropical fruits, citrus, honey, special malts in taste, light bitterness in finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. Not bad.

This one poured an orange color with a white head. Aroma was of malt, grassy hops and caramel. Flavor was lightly bitter and great and sweet caramel. Not too great.

Decent pale ale. Lacks in many aspects but it's got a nice taste. I would buy again; primarily because of the low price. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can’t believe I’ve been drinking this for years but never rated it! Nice head and good lacing. Aroma is mostly citrus some pine. Flavour is a nice balance of bitter and malt. The palate is a bit thin and finishes kind of ehh. But overall not a bad beer. I’ve had this beer on the beaches of Maui as well and it tastes similar but the atmosphere is much nicer!

Pours a clear medium amber with a hint of red. Normal head, lacing and retention. Light tropical nose (passion fruit) over caramel. Heavy medium bodied with a nice slick oily texture. Average carbonation level with a bit of effervescence on the finish. The taste profile is balanced between the flavors of the nose. It begins with tropical notes, flows to a bit of spice and ends with a light bitterness over caramel.

From firkin at Kona Brewing, infused with rose hips and dry-hopped with Australian Stella hops. Muddy, sediment-filled mustard seed yellow color. Aroma is pineapple, guava, and flowers. Taste is sweet grapefruit, pineapple, roses, guava, and light caramel malt. Smooth, full mouthfeel with a lingering tropical citrus aftertaste.

12oz bottle. One of my favorite summer pale ales. Great taste that comes along with the pale ale tradition but light and bright at the same time.

A floral aroma rising from a clear dark amber pour forming a white ring and no lacing. The taste is refreshingly floral combining with soft malt notes. Medium body and medium carbonation. Crisp clean mouthfeel. Overall, easy to drink and quite refreshing, although rather one demintional on the palate.

Appearance: Lovely clear deep orange golden color with a fine white head. Good lacing.
Aroma: Citric hoppy, malty and fruity.
Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet and a fine bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Mild citric hoppy, mild grassy, fruity and a bit to much butterscotch.
Overall impression: Not to found of to much butterscotch. Otherwise this would have been a nice ale.
Personal stats: Bottle at Førtito Bar & Bowling in Sarpsborg, Norway
