COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fire Rock Pale Ale is a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Its signature copper color results from the unique blend of specialty roasted malts. The pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma comes from the liberal amounts of Galena, Cascade & Mt. Hood hops added to each brew.

bottle. Pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma was mildly hoppy with citrus, caramel and notes of floral. Flavor was sweet malts, caramel and light citrus with a medium body and had a slightly bitter finish.

Bottle served in a shaker glass. Pours clear amber with a thin capping of head. Smells vaguely malty with with some caramel and a hint of citrus. The flavor is nutty with some grass and citrus notes in the background. Has almost an IPA level of bitterness under a full body. Not bad but not memorable either.

12oz from Total Wine, Durham. Pale amber body, faintly cloudy with a moderate head. Bready malts and faintly dry grassy hops in the nose. Another SNPA knockoff that doesn’t quite seem to cut the mustard. Body is thinnish, with a somewhat prickly mouthfeel that livens things up a bit. Hops are indistinct to taste, and the biscuity malts don’t really contribute much in the way of character. Average in every way.

Appearance: Pours a clear amber gold with a very small white head. Aroma: Floral hops, rain water, dry malts, and a touch of sweetness and citrus. Taste: Bready and sweet malt, bitter floral/tropical hops, sparkling mineral water. Finishes with slight bitterness. Mouthfeel: Crisp and on the thin side. Overall: I enjoy this beer immensely. Great level of hoppiness, not overdone with malt.

On tap at the Mews in Wakefield RI. Slight hazy copper pour, creamy foam head with some lacing. Light flora of hops. Palate is light citrus, hops and malts. A crisp like texture with some bitterness towards the finish. Probably a good paring with ham/pineapples.

Six pack from Majestic Liquors on Eastchase. Not that great, but by this point, Kona is hit or miss for me. Could have been more hoppy.

Appearance: amber clear ale with medium top. Average look. 3-
Nose: Mild , clean fresh hops sided nose with some amber and crystal malts.
Flavor/Palate : Mid bodied. Soft , grainy rye like feel with hint of caramel and fruity hops. Different fruity hop sided ale.

6-pack purchased at a local convenience store. Nice looking pale ale. Peach/gold or copper color. Nice thin head sitting on top that slowly fades away. Very surprised to see how good this thing looks. Nice sweet caramel malt aroma. Nice subtle hop that almost perfectly balances the aroma. Not overly pungent, but still a nice aroma. The flavor is a bit boring and weak. A mild hop flavor with a little sweet malt backing. Nothing amazing going on here, but a very straight forward APA. Not exceptionally creamy, but average.

Bottle from Wholefoods. Pours a pretty dark amber, looks nice. Medium carbonation, sharp hop tang underneath sweet malts. Grainy and medium bodied. Tasty brew.

Poured a clear amber color with a small uninteresting head. Smell is of mild citrus and a little bit of malts. Taste is again not too interesting. A little bit of hops. Bunch of malts. Mouth feel was smooth, but not at all hearty. Not my favorite APA.
