COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fire Rock Pale Ale is a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Its signature copper color results from the unique blend of specialty roasted malts. The pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma comes from the liberal amounts of Galena, Cascade & Mt. Hood hops added to each brew.

Darker for a pale ale. A little on the hoppy side, not a very complex pale ale. Good for a Hawaiian brew, but not my first choice for a pale ale ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

13.12.2014. Aroma is caramel, fruits, citrus. Taste is sweet, slick, fruity. Could be more complex.

Bottle from Antioch Fine Wine. Pours orangey copper body with little head. Aroma has some citrus and pine, with biscuity malt. Taste is of some light citrus and light pine. A bit malty. Clean finish. Shrug? Nothing special. 12.8

Impressive three-finger head that leaves nice ring lace on the glass. Hazy, neutral amber color. Head dies slowly. Extreme caramel aroma; reminds me of cotton candy. No hop; no alcohol to the nose. Mostly malty with lots of biscuity and grainy flavors. Light hop shows up on the swallow and the aftertaste. Very full bodied for the style. Moderate carbonation. In the end, there’s too much candy (but still not sweet) to this beer.

Fairly refreshing but simple. Gold and clear with a small white head. Quite carbonated, some decent hops up front, very little aftertaste. Good to drink on a hot day.

On Tap at Jimmy’s Culpeppers. Aroma is lightly floral. Color is a nice, clear, reddish copper with minimal head that dissipates pretty quickly. Taste is lightly sweet. Body is light to medium and relatively thin with average carbonation. Overall a solid if unspectacular beer. Very drinkable.

Not a very good apa. Lot of malts, hint of caramel, something not right, just few notes of hops. Drinkable

Orange, hazy pour would a good white head and lacing. Malty caramel, bread, orange peel, pine, slight coriander. Long, dry hoppy finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle. Booths, Ilkley. Dark gold, with a light haze. Honeyed malts. Juicy hop. Some citrus. Drinks sweet, slightly syrupy. Some bitterness. A bit grassy. Palate is slick. Finishes oily bitter.

clear amber colour, 1 inch of yellowish off-white head; aroma of tropical fruits, grass, some floral notes and hints of vegetables; taste of tropical fruity hoppiness and bready maltiness; surprisingly great APA - I expected much less based on its rating

Bottle. Amber body. Medium white head. Grass, biscuit, hop, malt, sulphur, boiled vegetables, cereal (oats?). Bittersweet. Dry finish. Boring and uninteresting.
