COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fire Rock Pale Ale is a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Its signature copper color results from the unique blend of specialty roasted malts. The pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma comes from the liberal amounts of Galena, Cascade & Mt. Hood hops added to each brew.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy orange color. Malty aroma with hints of caramel and very slight hop character coming through. Medium body with notes of malt, some roastiness up front with a slight bitter and dry finish. Good balance, and enjoyable especially for those who enjoy a malty, bitter finish. Overall: (B)

Bottle from QClub at home. Translucent copper pour - nice. Aroma is very bready and malty, not much hops. Taste is like a slightly hoppier Dead Guy - very rich and malty with a slightly bitter finish. Richer palate than usual for a pale ale. Not bad but wouldn't get again.

Very interesting beer. Dont know why it has such an average mark on ratebeer. Really fruity-hoppy. Reminds me my first pale ales...such as Sierra Nevada. I enjoyed it very much, thanks to Dimitri.

"i don’t know what hawaiin style means, but the aroma and taste is a little fruitier than other pales. refreshing with a nice hoppy dry character. a little thinner and lacking in distinction other than that."

Draft at Hard Rock Hotel Orlando. Amber pour. Simple pale ale profile...b bready malts, light citrusy hops. Plain but decent.

Bottle sample at a tasting at our place. Thanks zvikar. Clear-to-hazy amber with white film. Sweet, fruity aroma with notes of ripe mango, sweetish taste with muted bitterness. Smooth, medium-bodied, a little malty. Old and imbalanced but tasty.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks zvikar. Hazy deep golden. Aroma of citric hops, slightly stale, and a bit of malt. Sweetish flavor with malt, some stale citric hops and a slightly bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.

Pours a hazy copper with a 1 finger head that goes away instantly. Aroma is a pine and resin with notes of citrus and breadiness. Taste is a slight sweetness and nutty malt on the front with a cereal middle and slight hops bitterness in the back. Overall this is a very drinkable pale ale but one that leaves something to be desired in the realm of excellent pale ales. I like it but I don’t think i would seek it out.
