Pours a dark, transparent orange-brown with a fine-bubbled off-white head. Aroma is not strong but appetizing, malty with touches of spice and fruit. Flavor is rich, mainly malty with spicy hints and a nice hoppy edge. Mouthfeel is edgy so it seems to dance on the tongue.

does not count  Sep 2, 2008 Bottle. Refreshing light golden brown ale. Not sure why people call it boring as we found it to have a malty character that neither distracts nor is overbearing. Much better cold than room-temp. Another very good summer time evening beer.

Aug 31, 2008 12oz bottle: pours amber brown with white head, aroma malty and not much else flavor is also pretty simple barley and a little bit of hops and pretty watered down.

Aug 29, 2008 Amber beer with a white head. Aroma is grapefruit. Flavor has a nice hop bitterness and a good balance of malt. Finish is grapefruit, starting bitter and finishing slightly sweet. Very nice american pale ale.

Aug 27, 2008 On tap, pours a decent light copper with a finger thick, cream colored head. The nose is clean bitter hops and sweet malt, as is the flavor. Very easy drinking

Aug 27, 2008 Bottle. A very nice pale ale, copper color, with a definite sweet taste initially balanced out with strong hoppy bitter aftertaste.
