COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fire Rock Pale Ale is a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Its signature copper color results from the unique blend of specialty roasted malts. The pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma comes from the liberal amounts of Galena, Cascade & Mt. Hood hops added to each brew.

Pours pale amber with little to no head. What’s there is soapy big bubbles. Hardly No lace. Aroma is ever so light citrus hop and caramel malt and some fruit. Taste is pleasantly sweet with a good bittering balance but sweet overrides the balance 60/40. This is not really a pale in my book. More a amber ale/pale ale hybrid. Great beer but perhaps miscategorized. Feels smooth. Simple but good.

Rated based on notes taken 12 July 2012 -- It’s an okay beer that I think has declined in quality over the past couple of years. Or maybe my taste buds just like better beer now.

Bottle, 10C. Amber with an off-white head. Toasty aroma with caramel, dried peach, grass, light wafty citrus notes. A little soapy. Moderate carbonation, fairly heavy body for what it offers. Sweet caramel and bread, stone fruit, vague citrus and some pine and pepper at the end. Gentle bitterness, some sweetness hangs around. Pleasant, engaging beer.

12 oz bottle: Aroma has got a nice floral, pine hop note with a substantial malt backing that is well balanced. Appearance is a clear Amber to almost brown with a thick white head that diminishes very slowly. Tasters very nice with the malt intermingled with the pungent pine like hops. Palate is medium carbonation with a light malt characteristic in the after taste. Overall, Some pretty darn good stuff. Cheers!

35.5cl bottle. Best before 2016-02. Hazy orange colour with a minimal white head. Aroma is subtle. Malts and spices. Some grass. Not much hops. Flavour is round and balanced. Sweet malts, grain, bread, grass. Some spice. Also some citrus after a short while. Medium to short aftertaste.

Flaska@BA Vasagatan. Gyllenbärnstensfärgad vätska, lätt disig, med tjockt skum. Grape och lite ananas i doften. Fruktig besk smak med ett lite dammigt avslut. Mjuk munkänsla, snudd på gräddig.

Bottle. Amber/copper hazy colour with white, very short lasting head. Some sediment. Aroma caramel, candy, hops, some fresh citrusy aroma, with hints of strawberries. Some lemongrass. Bit piny aroma. Taste - nice balance between caramel sweetness, taste of hops and bitterness. Mild bitterness. Good one. Very drinkable.
