COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fire Rock Pale Ale is a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Its signature copper color results from the unique blend of specialty roasted malts. The pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma comes from the liberal amounts of Galena, Cascade & Mt. Hood hops added to each brew.

Red fizzy body but no foam. Not too much aroma. Banana, abricot, dough, leaves. Not very complex but pretty balanced. Great aftertaste in here, makes it worth trying. Enjoyed this ale, without being memorable.

Pours clear copper (with flakes of sedimentation?) and minimal white fizz for a head. Smells floral with a malty base. Tastes malted with very little hop bitterness present at all. Medium-bodied with what can only be described as "almost" creamy texture and present mouth-carbonation, Kona Fire Rock Pale Ale finishes unimpressively, a little bitter and a little sweet but not outstanding. It just didn’t match up to my expectations.

355ml bottle. Pours a golden amber, slightly hazy, with a nice thin head. The nose has dried apricots, toffee & mandarins. The taste has a zesty earthy note, maybe parsnips or apricots again and then lovely Seville orange finish. The palate is a medium bodied, it has a thick creamy texture and a fresh zingy finish that actually starts in the middle somewhere. Overall, a lovely beer - could easily drink a litre, maybe more!

Beautiful red amber colour - not really a "pale ale" in colour. Fresh malt nose. Strong well balanced presence throughout the tasting dominated by a most pleasant maltiness.

Medium amber with a slightly off-white head. Aroma is citrus, floral, and resin. Medium bitter and medium sweetness. Flavor is malt, fruit, and some coffee. A really unique and interesting pale ale.

Solid pale ale here. Pours light copper, retains a white lacy head throughout the glass. Hops are not overpowering but show a citrusy presence. Mouthfeel is smooth and makes it pretty refreshing. A great warm weather ale.

On tap at Lulu’s. Head fizzles off very quickly, but that’s expected. Has just the right level of hoppiness in my opinion, could have a little better finish. Still I would highly recommend it.

Nicely crafted pale ale. This is my first taste of a beer/ale brewed in Hawaii - won’t be my last.

Flaske: Orange ravfarvet ø med et fint skumhoved. En god maltsødme i duften bliver bakket op af en klar humleprofil med en smule citrus. Smagen er også som den skal være med en del sødme fra malten og en røvfuld humle. Fin øl.

Appearance- This beer poured a nice hazy, orange color with a descent 1 inch head. Lacing was present throughout beer. Smell- Nice hint of floral and pine. Had a slight hint of citrus but not much going on here. Taste- Not too bad. Had a nice hoppiness which was balanced well with the malt. Not much of a bitter finish which I’m fine with. The hops were a bit subdued which again was ok with me since I wasn’t looking for a hop bomb. Mouthfeel- Medium body with medium high carbonation. Overall- A nice beer which is easy to drink. I would really love to drink this beer while sitting on the beach in Waikiki. We’ll see how much better it gets. I bet a Corona would taste good in Hawaii!!
