BeerFanDan17 (397), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA May 11, 2008 On draft at my local BW3’s. Nice smooth pale ale with a good hoppy balance. Crisp and slightly citrusy. Very good overall.
SilkTork (3941), Rochester, Kent, England Oct 10, 2008 GBBF, Trade Day, 2008 Bottle. American hops and a sweetish malt. Rather vague and ill defined. Nothing impressive, but drinkable. Caleb1035 (33), , North Carolina, USA Oct 7, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Aroma is nice with citrus hints. Appeareance is very amber with quickly dissipating head. Smells good, looks good...taste is only average. BDR (1929), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Oct 6, 2008 bottle. Amber color with white head and a light hops and malt on the aroma. Nice carbonation. Light roasted and toasted malts with a light hops finish.
ajm (369), California, USA Oct 5, 2008 Tap at the original Yard House. I think Pershing is dead on: average. While the color is darker than your standard pale ale, the aroma is undistinguished at the flavor is simply unimpressive. I detected more malt that hops, actually, and the whole brew seemed very settled as opposed to bright and sprightly as living in SoCal has accustomed me to. Pershing (113), Garland, Texas, USA Oct 2, 2008 Hazy amber with a small head. Slight floral aroma with light hoppy taste. Smooth finish. Average American pale ale.
