COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fire Rock Pale Ale is a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Its signature copper color results from the unique blend of specialty roasted malts. The pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma comes from the liberal amounts of Galena, Cascade & Mt. Hood hops added to each brew.

Great hop aroma and balance between maltinrss and bitterness. Complex nose but very light bitterness. Definately a great IPA but on the softer side with less bitterness and complex dry hop aroma.

They add those hops to EACH brew? Wow! Lighter copper color, hazy and little head. Nose is guilty esters, some citrus, and some floral hops mixed with breads, and a moderate dose of caramels. Flavor is caramels and citrus but faint hops and flavors seem just a little muddles like you can’t pick out the differences. Medium carbonation and full body. light bitternes and medium sweet finish. Overall just and average pale ale without any pronounced flavor that set it apart.

A good beer, very heavy on the bread crust and a nice bit of hops. Drank this at a hot bbq and it wasn’t the refreshing, cooling pa I thought it would be but it is still a good beer.

The nose is of bread/biscuit-like malt and some subdued hop aromas. Taste is of citrus zest and floral hops up front with a solid malt backbone. Mild bitterness on the palate after each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp and clean mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good pale ale with a nice balance between the malt and hops in the taste.

Pours a clear golden orange on tap with fluffy white head and moderate lacing. Aroma is faint, bready pale malt and slight earthy hop. Taste follows, light and crisp. Meh.

This was one of the first Pale Ales I had back in the day. Nice and smooth with not too much character for its higher abv.

Bottle. Pours clear light amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of hops, malt and caramel. Bitter, hoppy flavour with subtle, sweetish caramel touches, endning dry and sticky. Rich carbonation. OK but nothing really impressive.

Bottle, 6.0%. Weak caramelly malt aroma. Clear amber/copper colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is caramelly with an OK grassy and piney hop note. Rather sweet, I think. Could have used more bitterness to counter the sweetness, but other than that quite OK.

Draft at Momos. Clear copper pour with a foamy white head. Faint grassy and floral hop aroma with crystal malt. Flavor is similar and subdued. Easy and non offensive beer.
