Fire Rock Pale Ale is a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Its signature copper color results from the unique blend of specialty roasted malts. The pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma comes from the liberal amounts of Galena, Cascade & Mt. Hood hops added to each brew.

So happy to see this, because it knocks off both of the non-continental states. This beer was brought back to me from my friend Rick, after his trip to DC. The aroma has a hint of resiny hops and a little floral esters. The beer is a hazy orangish-copper with a thin white head. The flavor is a decent balance of hop and malt, not too piney and not too much caramel. This is a good representative from the US Pale Ale category. It’s rather smooth, body is more on the light side, with a thinner texture, a decent fizzy carbonation, and semi-long finish. Cool beer to have arrive at my door, fun to drink outside by the fire pit with the dogs and a guitar.

Pours golden amber. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, pineapple (?), grass. Taste biscuity malt, then a surge of fruit, balancing in the finish.

Decent pale ale, crystal clear orange pour. A little watery but did have a nice toasted malt flavor. Slightly subdued in the hop end.

12 ounce bottle. Toasted malt nose. Tangy, spicy malt hop flavor. Carmel and fruity hops dominate the palate. Notes of pineapple and cinnamon in finish. Pleasant and easy drinking.

Sample size. Amber color. moderate hop aroma. Dry, flavor, bread dough, and lightly bitter. They nailed the style pretty well, but it is a style that is hard to make interesting. Perfectly serviceable, but I feel like I have had it dozens of times before.

Clear amber with an off-white head. Malty aroma. Smooth, drinkable. Malty, with pretty light hop presence. Not bad.

Excellent for a pale ale, with a little more malt sweetness and color than expected. Well balanced with a hint of citrus and hops. Easy to drink and refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Farbe: Kupfer, klar Schaum: leich und stetig. Gut. Nase: nix besonderes, leichter Geruch nach Bier. Geschmack: sehr sprudelig, frisch. Recht bitter und sauer, wie ein Pils. Nix für mich. Nachgeschmack: ebenso, hopfig, klar, bleibt was Bitteres zurück. Das wird bei einer Flasche bleiben.

Bottle - from sampler pack. Light copper color - clear. Mostly clean aroma. Good blend of hops and malt, but not the best hop flavor. Low carbonation.

Rolig i glasset. Ren nydelse.
