Aroma was clean and nicely hopped and toasty with a hint of peach. Toasted grainy malts with slightly sweet fruitiness. A little yeast and butterscotch flavours towards the finish. Very nice.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 1/5 | 9/20 | Jan 6, 2010 Bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with a smallish frothy, white head. Lacing is moderate. Aromas of spruce, roasted malts, and hints of orange. Palate is surprisingly flat with a soft finish, not lasting long. Honestly quite a bit disappointing in terms of the palate and mouthfeel. Taste is mainly grapefruit with a finish of orange. DrnkMcDermott (1873), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 5, 2010 12 oz. bottle, trade with Daknole, Contract-brewed for the Mainland at Redhook’s Portsmouth, NH brewery. Bottled 5/26/09. Pours an attractive copper pale ale with a good sized head of foam, plenty of bubble activity and unfiltered "floaties." Smell is a little light with the big head still standing; the foam is just offering whiffs of CO2 instead of beer scent. So let’s just taste it. Thick mouthfeel right off the top, sticky caramel malts. Hops are just a bit of citrus and pine behind the soft palate. A little less aggressive hop profile than an SNPA. But a good bitter aftertaste. A good baseline American Pale Ale. bulldogops (167), Alberta, Canada
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 3, 2010 Updated: Jan 4, 2010Bottle from the ABC Store on Ka’anapali Beach. Clear, amber coloured pour with a weak white head that bubbles away quickly. Aroma is floral, citrusy. Mouthfeel is extremely dry, taste is caramel, hint of citrus, and a flood of Cascade hops that seem to overwhelm most APAs. This didn’t impress me, was much too dry and weakly carbonated. gator2683 (143), Anchorage, Alaska, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 3, 2010 Pours an amber gold with practically no head. Aroma is citrus, pine and floral hops with caramel malt background. Flavor is bitter and the palate is thin and a little astringent. Decent beer. Stellaaaa (80), Tennessee, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 31, 2009 Pours a clear amber with a very thin white head that dissipates almost instantly. It has an aroma of both strong citrusy hops as well as a fairly strong scent of sweet, lightly roasted malt. It tastes of grapefruity hops with a hint of malty sweetness in the background. Overall, a very good beer. RSRIZZO (1369), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 22, 2009 12oz bottle poured into a Shaker at 46°. Color is a bright golden brown with mellow carbonation and a thin head. Aroma is a sweet sugar cookie scent with some light hops in back. Body is a lighter medium that goes down easy with a crisp feel. Finish is a malty grain like taste with a moderate bitterness and just a faint hop taste. After taste is a little bland with the bitterness hanging on. Overall its a boring little Pale Ale. Toxygen (413), Sanford, Florida, USA

lct-cpr, seems standard english pale ale but with a hint of american standard lager (could be adjunct - not sure) or maybe something unusual about the galena or mt hood hops as i’m not real familiar with them.
