COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Is there anything more iconic of the lush tropics than the coconut? The delicious heart of this island treasure has a nutty, toffee flavor and aroma that sends you straight to the beaches of Paradise. Kick back with a Koko Brown, brewed with real toasted coconut, and savor the mahogany color and smooth, roasty malt taste. Available Winter/Spring Koko Brown pairs well with coconut and caramel flavors, such as Thai curries, BBQ meats and carne asada. Its refreshing nutty aroma makes for the perfect beer after a day on the water.

Pours a clear rich brown from a bottle. Aroma of coconut flavored coffee. I get a lot more coffee notes in the flavor profile as well, but again some coconut wheezes along behind, crossing the finish line behind everything else. Meh.

Pours brown with a small white head. Slight coconut in the aroma but mostly nutty and roasted malt. Flavors have a little more coconut but the malt characteristics are the showcase here; nuts, chocolate and caramel sweetness. The body was a bit watery. Overall it didn’t have as much coconut as I was expecting but a pretty good beer nonetheless.

Brown color with a foamy head. Coconut is dominant in the aroma and taste, but not so irritating. Hint of roasted malt. Interesting.

12oz Flasche. Dunkelbraunes glänzendes Bier mit beigem cremigem Schaum. Aroma nach Röstmalz, Kokos, Nuss. Herb-süsser Antrunk. Sehr röstig. Öliges Mundgefühl. Bitteres Finish nach gerösteter Kokosnuss. Spannendes Bier.

Bottle: Poured a clear brown color ale with a medium size light brown foamy head with some retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet coconut is totally dominant. Taste is also dominated by loads of sweet coconut taste with light caramel malt also noticeable. Body is light with good carbonation. Interesting but overly sweet and the coconut is so powerful that it gets to be overwhelming.
