COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Is there anything more iconic of the lush tropics than the coconut? The delicious heart of this island treasure has a nutty, toffee flavor and aroma that sends you straight to the beaches of Paradise. Kick back with a Koko Brown, brewed with real toasted coconut, and savor the mahogany color and smooth, roasty malt taste. Available Winter/Spring Koko Brown pairs well with coconut and caramel flavors, such as Thai curries, BBQ meats and carne asada. Its refreshing nutty aroma makes for the perfect beer after a day on the water.

Bottle into pint glass. Decent overall beer that I would drink again but not search out. Not a ton of coconut coming through but what's there is nice. The base brown is good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle in Gatlinburg. Pretty flavorful brown with lots of roasted character almost like a porter. I didnít get any coconut until the finish. Good.

Orange-brown pour, aroma is of coconut and caramel, flavor similar; but while the aroma is rich, the flavor is a little bit too potent and a little too one dimensional. Pretty cool brew though.

Bottle - big foamy head, murky (not in a bad way) medium brown color, nutty malty aroma and flavor with a good shot of toasted coconut in it - impressed you can taste the coconut as much as you can, most "coconut" beers have very little if any at all coconut flavor - this is really good! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma of caramel, coffee, coconut. Taste of toffee, caramel, coffee, coconut, alcohol. Mouth-feel is medium bodied between oily and moderately sticky. Creamy as well.

Wow, great aroma of coconut and toffee right after pouring in the glass. Crystal clear brown mahogany just as the description says. More nutty coconut in the flavor as well. Overall, much better than I expected. Iím sad that I got this as part of a "Make Your Own" six pack as opposed to a straight up 6er of this. Iím going to get some more...

Very strong coconut flavor but it works. This is a good brown ale with malty flavor and a great mouth feel.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2014 Bottle. One of the nicest brown ales in my experience. Aromas are drenched in coconut, but it works. Brown sugar, toasted malt, and some cherry. Coconut flavour lingers nicely- not too overpowering. Beautifully smooth and supple. Unique, and a real treat.

On tap at The Chicago Beer Festival 2014. Pour is light brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is of coconut, suntan lotion, caramel, and chocolate. Flavor has a bit more roast and malt coming through. Coconut oil in the aftertaste, not a big fan of this.
