4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
If you love toasted coconut then you MUST try this! Looked sexy golden brown poured from a bottle. Small white head with great lacing. The smell was delicious malty roasted toasty coconut. The taste was the same. This is a wonderful anytime beer if you like coconut. It has the deep malty flavor if a brown ale but is tropical and refreshing. Will definitely have this often.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
355ml bottle. Clear (?) mahogany colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Nuttily, dark malty aroma with a chocolately touch, "holistic" notes of coconut ("inside" and "outside" parts), a touch of roast, Taste is dry, dark malty, rather intense notes of coconut run the spectrum of variations from fresh to roasty; chocolately interludes. Lasting finish, minimally sticky palate. Absolutely convincing use of coconut.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Bottle, 0.355 l - BB Feb 10 16, 20160825) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had roasted malts, coconut and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were roasted malts, coconut, caramel, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was roasty and bitter. A decent brew where the coconut was hidden almost enough.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
355ml bottle pours a dark amber brown color with a finger of off-white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is coconut and chocolate with some caramel. Taste is a caramel and chocolate malty sweetness with a light herbal bitterness and coconut throughout. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, a well crafted brown ale that is balanced and tasty.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light and (at first) interesting beer. Coconut leads the way- dried coconut nose with faint drinking chocolate whiff. Darker and more chocolate in the mouth. A bit like a bounty ice cream crossed with a german dunkel weizen (much less fizzy than most, but as thin as some, of the latter).
