Is there anything more iconic of the lush tropics than the coconut? The delicious heart of this island treasure has a nutty, toffee flavor and aroma that sends you straight to the beaches of Paradise. Kick back with a Koko Brown, brewed with real toasted coconut, and savor the mahogany color and smooth, roasty malt taste. Available Winter/Spring Koko Brown pairs well with coconut and caramel flavors, such as Thai curries, BBQ meats and carne asada. Its refreshing nutty aroma makes for the perfect beer after a day on the water.

Pours a clear copper with a thin white head. As advertised, this one does have the aroma of coconut, as well as toffee and just a bit of a nutty undertone. Taste has plenty of coconut, but not so overpowering as to be unenjoyable. Along with roasted malts, I still get some toffee, as well as some yeast flavors that become more noticeable at the end. Medium in body with average carbonation. Aftertaste is short and consists mostly of coconut and a bit of yeast. This is pretty good. Although your opinion will probably be dominated on whether or not you like coconut.

Thanks to Dave. There is a cool-looking paddle boarder on the label. A dark pour with a decent, but flimsy topper. Flavor of caramel, nut brown ale, and a little pumpernickel. Aroma is light, sweet, and bready. The light, cola smoothness almost seems ready for a scoop of vanilla ice cream. There is a dash of limey sourness on the palate that doesn’t hurt. Pretty good.

12oz bottle. Pours a dark brown with an off white head. Toffee, toasted coconut, vanilla, caramel. Pretty tasty. Better than I was expecting. Not something I can drink a lot of though. It's a little too sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

You know, this was a surprisingly good beer. I loved the aromas of caramel and coconut, with a nutty hint in there too. Poured a nice dark brown with a beige head. Flavors were awesome! fresh coconut, caramel, some roast, roasted nuts, light coffee and cocoa. This is a great brown ale in my opinion.

Like this brown ale from kona. Kind of sweet a little chocolately. Super crushable and smells like chocolate. Pours almost black in color. Had at home. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark brown color. Malty with a hint of coconut. Very mild finish with a very slight touch of hops. Tried this at the Federal Taphouse in Lancaster.
