COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Is there anything more iconic of the lush tropics than the coconut? The delicious heart of this island treasure has a nutty, toffee flavor and aroma that sends you straight to the beaches of Paradise. Kick back with a Koko Brown, brewed with real toasted coconut, and savor the mahogany color and smooth, roasty malt taste. Available Winter/Spring Koko Brown pairs well with coconut and caramel flavors, such as Thai curries, BBQ meats and carne asada. Its refreshing nutty aroma makes for the perfect beer after a day on the water.

Poured into a pint glass. Brown to amber color and transparent. It had a finger of head, but it was quickly gone to surface covering. A slight nutty smell and then dominated by coconut and a little cocoa. It smells like dessert. Sweet, sweet and then some sweet coconut. Lighter body, low carbonation. I really liked the smell, but the coconut just overpowered everything in the taste. Too bad. About a third to half the coconut would make this a really winner and let the rest of the ale show through.

Bottle. Pours clear cola brown. Aroma is toasted coconut, caramel, and vanilla with some light toasted malt notes and nuttiness. Flavor is woody and nutty with some caramel notes, light earthy bitterness, and some light coconut notes as the finish dries out. Medium body.

Great brown! Slightly light brown in color, yellow edges, minimal head. Like a sweeter, slightly creamier Newcastle. Toasty coconut and notes of miscellaneous tropical fruit were evident.

Kicking off a bachelor party weekend with something a little exotic! This toasted coconut-infused brown ale was a deliciously non-conventional brew, struck a perfect balance of flavorful but not overwhelming coconut flavor with a more traditional toasted caramel malt base. Aroma is toasted malt with just a slight hint of the coconut notes, along with some English-style chocolate malt and earthiness. Taste is smooth coconut-accented maltiness- the coconut takes the place of the nutty note that is more standard for the style. Finishes slightly earthy but refreshing, an excellent beer to change things up occasionally.

Deep reddish brown with thin head. Aroma of hazelnut, vanilla, and toffee. Taste is similarly delicious and sweet. Hazelnut is the strongest flavor, but also has toasted coconut and a little chocolate. Finish resembles sugary cereal milk. Palate is oily and medium bodied.
