COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Is there anything more iconic of the lush tropics than the coconut? The delicious heart of this island treasure has a nutty, toffee flavor and aroma that sends you straight to the beaches of Paradise. Kick back with a Koko Brown, brewed with real toasted coconut, and savor the mahogany color and smooth, roasty malt taste. Available Winter/Spring Koko Brown pairs well with coconut and caramel flavors, such as Thai curries, BBQ meats and carne asada. Its refreshing nutty aroma makes for the perfect beer after a day on the water.

Draft at Jerry’s. Clear brown with modest, creamy, beige head / Bright nose of (indeed) toasted coconut, chocolate, and vanilla / Light to medium body, a touch watery, low carbonation, some sweetness, with good balance and fair finish / Pleasant, clean, somewhat simple flavors of toasted coconut, milk chocolate / Very nice, but has a certain soda pop character to it.

Draft. Medium brown color with tan head. Moderate body, very unique taste, must be coconut that comes thru as a spice. Okay, but not my thing

Pours a light brown color topped with very generous cream colored head. There is a very pleasant malty aroma, slightly roasted and also the aroma of coconut. The taste is creamy and sweet, slight roasty feel and with nice bitterness in the finish. Surprisingly nice cocnut taste in the aftertaste makes this one of the nicest beers lately.

Thanks to Dave. There is a cool-looking paddle boarder on the label. A dark pour with a decent, but flimsy topper. Flavor of caramel, nut brown ale, and a little pumpernickel. Aroma is light, sweet, and bready. The light, cola smoothness almost seems ready for a scoop of vanilla ice cream. There is a dash of limey sourness on the palate that doesn’t hurt. Pretty good.

12oz bottle. Pours a dark brown with an off white head. Toffee, toasted coconut, vanilla, caramel. Pretty tasty. Better than I was expecting. Not something I can drink a lot of though. It's a little too sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

You know, this was a surprisingly good beer. I loved the aromas of caramel and coconut, with a nutty hint in there too. Poured a nice dark brown with a beige head. Flavors were awesome! fresh coconut, caramel, some roast, roasted nuts, light coffee and cocoa. This is a great brown ale in my opinion.

12 oz via bottle on a recent camping trip. Aroma and flavor of bitter chocolate, coffee, light roast, toasty/nutty malts, toffee, coconut and caramel. Smooth and flavorful with a medium body.

Like this brown ale from kona. Kind of sweet a little chocolately. Super crushable and smells like chocolate. Pours almost black in color. Had at home. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark brown color. Malty with a hint of coconut. Very mild finish with a very slight touch of hops. Tried this at the Federal Taphouse in Lancaster.
