Bottle from Kroger. Clear pale golden with a white head that’s quickly gone. Pleasant aroma of lemongrass, ginger and bread. Tastes gingery and lightly bitter but ultimately not much going on. Light-medium bodied and crisp.

Haven’t had many lemongrass beers but this is the first one that is actually drinkable. Light on the lemongrass but there. Decent beer.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 4/12/2016. Pours slightly hazy golden straw color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy white head wit hgood retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings dow nthe glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, ginger, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt, spices, and light yeast ester notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, ginger, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness and ginger spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, gimger, wheat, cracker, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Good robustness and balance of pale malt, spices, and light yeast ester flavors; with a good malt/bitter/spice balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitter/spice as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, fairly creamy/grainy, and lightly crisp/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%; with some light ginger heat creeping in near the end of the glass. Overall this is a good spiced blonde ale. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt, spices, and light yeast ester flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

(bottle) Pours a clear, light-golden complexion with diminishing white head. Faint aroma of lemongrass and ginger. The flavor is much more lemongrass and ginger, as you would expect. Fun for summer BBQ or Asian foods.

Bottle. A- Ginger, lemongrass. A- Golden yellow color, clear liquid, white head. T- Ginger, subtle lemon, spices. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, mild finish. O- This one is definitely ginger forward. The lemongrass was there but not too much of it. Predominately ginger yet not overpowering. Good, but call this one Ginger Luau and not Lemongrass Luau.

I just notice that they brew a "Ginger Beer". This is what this reminds me of, so I guess it’s a variation with lemongrass, and in a wheat beer style. Heavy on the ginger, which I kind of like...gives a spicy feel and flavor with some decent heat. Aroma is sort of yeasty, and the pale yellow appearance is kind of bland. Besides that though it’s a decent drinkable spring/summer beer.
