Longboard Island Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

Excellent hot summer day beer. Itís 91 degrees and humid on a Friday after work. One of the better ones out there and head and shoulders above the macro lagers.

Bottle with Indian food. Clear light amber beer, decent white head. Aroma pale malt. Taste is pale malt and lager. Palate is light, carbonation moderate. Itís a lager. Itís ok.

Bottle. 4.6%. Best before 31.05.16. Pours a slightly hazy, very pale yellow, with a diminishing white head. Weak aroma; slightly tart, citrusy. Light cereal note as it warms. Same flavour, also weak, though not as weak as the aroma. Somewhat hoppy finish. Lingering grassy note. A wee bit too much carbonation. Overall not really bad, just... boring. 13.08.15.

Very light straw yellow beer in the glass, clear and filtered, some chill haze though. One of the palest beers Iíve ever seen. Not much flavour to pick up, but it certainly is a lager / pilsner style beer in my nose. Sadly, itís not much flavours to pick up either, but it has some citrusy dry / tart, well carbonated mouthfeel, and a light, watery slim body. Very sessionable, light refreshment on the beach (label just begged for that comment...) Easy consumed, fast forgotten. Sorry, Kona.

Corn and grainy aroma. Very pale, clear, and a small film head. Slightly dry malt flavor, more grain and corn in the flavor.

355ml bottle from Prisma, Jumbo. Poured straw color with a thin white head. Sparkling, light bodied with some hay, apple and malt. Refreshing but quite bland, not much flavorwise. Thirst quenchener.

355 ml, flaske, 4,6 % ABV, BB: 31/05/16, købt i Netto i Valby, 3. august 2015.

Rated based on notes taken 30 Sep 2012 -- Sure Iíll drink this trap of a "craft" brew. Unfortunately it is still a pretty good brew, despite itís ownership.

Bottle. Light hazy yellow with a medium sized white head. Nose has dried green plants, citrus, flowers. A bit shy on flavour where the lager yeast shows some sulphor with some grain and hay also. Not crisp and bright as the nose had me hoping but more sweet and slightly sticky with little bitterness, which doesnít work too well. Flat sticky finish. Drinkable at best. Silly to import this.

APPEARANCE- very light golden yellow - reminiscent of many lagers. NOSE- All ílagerí smell (still am not certain what that is), I donít even get much in the way of typical lager style earthy/grassy hops. FLAVOR- Very light. Refreshing. Not much to it. NOTES- Probably perfect for sitting on the beach.
