Longboard Island Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

Very mild and sparkling lager with a smooth texture. Good for hot days but I won’t recommend it.

12 oz via bottle at Cactus Jacks. Mild flavor, light spicy hop bitterness and a touch of malty sweetness. Crisp, light body, pretty smooth and easy to drink. Not bad, better than your average pale lager. Passable.

Bottle at Thirsty Meeples, Oxford, Sunday 3rd August 2014 Pours pale gold with white head. Crisp and refreshing with a light minerally edge. A light fruitiness but drying. Its good for a beer that isn’t usually a style I go for. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Pours a crystal clear classic golden color with a quickly fading white head. Corn, green grape, and grain on the nose. Full and wet mouthfeel with good carbonation for balance. Taste approximates the nose. Good balance if sweetness with the tartness and hop bitterness.

Crisp smooth clean with a little spicy kick to it. A solid summer drink, cool and refreshing. Mainly noble hop flavor and light toast. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 355ml, kindly shared by Dominique. A pale yellow beer with low head. No nose ! aroma is just nutty, dusty hops and medium bitterness, watery body, wet paper touch, very uninteresting brew.

Bottle. Clear, pale golden body, with a frothy, white head, that dissipates immediately. Aroma is sweet, with rice, grains, hay, corn. Taste is watery, with the same aromas. Mouthfeel is light, with almost no carbonation and it finishes light, corny and grainy. One of the most boring Lagers I’ve ever had.

12 fl. oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow with a small, short lived white head. Mild aroma of malt and hops with a hint of fruit. Sweet malty flavour with hops, mild fruit and a slightly dry, bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear pale yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is a bit grainy and grassy. Taste is sweet with some grass and a soft to medium bitterness. Light to medium body, medium carbo. A bit stale.

12 ounce bottle. Bright, clear golden color. Neutral aroma. Light malt taste with a bit of caramel malt sweetness in the aftertaste. The hops are subdued as they should be in a Helles Lager. Good everyday beer. What I cannot figure out is where it was brewed. Hawaii? Oregon? Washington? New Hampshire? No, not in Hawaii, what was I thinking? The website says produced by Craft Brew Alliance which belongs to Anheuser-Busch InBev. According to the Brewers Association, CBA does not meet the definition of a craft brewer. This is a pseudo micro lager.
