Longboard Island Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

Too sweet, slightly skunky. I’m drinking one now that sat in the fridge until I ran out of everything else. You know, it’s bad enough that Foster’s ("Australian for beer") is really made in Canada. But here we have a so-called "Island Lager" with a Hawaiian-sounding brewery name (Kona Brewing Co.), people on the label surfing, and so on. But it’s actually made in freaking New Hampshire. Is there a lot of surfing in New Hampshire? Is New Hampshire an island? The beer is almost as bad as their marketing strategy.

Golden yellow pour with quickly diminishing white head. Light carbonation. Lovely crisp and refreshing lager. Not an awful lot going on. Gentle hoppy finish.

355ml bottle. Pours light gold with a medium head. Aroma is sweet and grassy. Taste is sweet, some grass and corn. Not offensive, just devoid of flavour and a bit bland.

A typical us lager with Hawaii notes☺. I tasted it locally on HI and there it is quite OK on a hot summer day. Back in EU it is a little pale and with light malty notes and no impressive hops. Palate is short but agreeable. A nice local brew if you drink it locally.

This was your typical American light lager it was smooth and not very many hoppy notes. I think this would be a good summer beach drink ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pretty average lager from Kona brewery. Looks, smells, and pours like any other. Smell of basic grains and no complexities. It did have a slight head which was cool. Taste is balanced, not too sweet and not too boring

Clear yellow gold with a dissipative white head. Aroma is slightly buttery with general corn notes. The aroma has a dull tone. Flavour is also fairly buttery which accompanied with the slick Mouthfeel indicates high levels of diacetyl. A bit too much in my opinion. The bitterness doesn’t quite match up with the rest of the beer, being a little on the harsh side. Not a beer I’d bother with again.

Flaske. Farven er gylden med en hvid skumkrone. Aromaen er græs blomst og malt medens smagen er frugt og malt
