Longboard Island Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

Draft at a restaurant in Marathon, Fl. Served in a pint glass, clear orange’ish golden color with white head. Aroma of sweet pale malt, slight toast and some grass. Taste is bready malt with somewhat of a spice note. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp with a dry finish. Alright, slightly better then the average macro.

I didn't take any extra notes when I tried this beer for the first time but I'm gonna try it again and update my comments. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml . I like pale lagers more than your typical ratebeer drinker , but I’m enthusiastic for the more swill textured offerings , Corona , Coors Light for example . This is not swill , its well made and easy to drink , but lacking the chemicals , corn, misplaced elements like metal and pennies that I love in crappy lager . This is kinda soulless . Its well made but mundane . Quiet malty , grainy , sweet and spicy . I guess its not soulless really , I’m wrong but its just not the soul I go for in pale lagers.

Bottle at Brewerkz, Sentosa Boardwalk, Singapore. Served very cold. Poured a clear straw colour with a whispy white head. The aroma is yeast, skunky malt, light hop. The flavour is light bitter with a watery light citrus hop bitter palate. Light bodied with average carbonation.

Pours straw golden. Small white, bubbly head. Nose of light malts. Light bread/hay malts aroma. Light mouthfeel. Not much dept.

Bottle at home. Pours light light pale. Head faded fairly quickly. Looks to be low carbonation. Slight grassy aromas maybe. Taste is a subtle crisp lager experience. I actually don’t mind/enjoy a characterless lager when it doesn’t carry cheap corn or metallic flavours. This is very light and certainly refreshing.

Not a huge lager fan but this one hits the spot! Very light beer. Good but faint aroma. Smooth and crisp. A good one for sure. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is what I was looking for as far as a summer beer. This is a premium version of the much disrespected by beer snobs, the American lager. So compare it more to Stella and Heineken than Budweiser and Miller. Since that is the price range at 8-9 bucks for a six pack. It blows the American and Euro macro lagers out of the water. Everything is subtle and balanced. Fruit is evident but not upfront, Hops are evident but this is not at all bitter. It has the crisp finish that a summer lager should. Check it out

Draft. Weak aroma, pale golden color. Quick hop bite, that fades rapidly. Not much malt. Easy to drink more than one.
