Longboard Island Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

Lite clear golden body under a pure white head. Very water mouth feel. Watery tasting with weak flavors. Honey. Would be nice on a hot summer day.

Aroma is sweet cereal malts and a light, I don’t know, maybe passion fruit. Taste is mostly water, light passion fruit, and cereal malt and some floral hops in the finish.

Clear golden, unstable airy white head. Aroma has malt, grain and notes of butter. Malty flavour with notes if yeast and hops. Bittersweet and dry.

Non è certo una birra memorabile, ma comunque così si può berla tranquillamente, forse un pò troppo dolciastra...

Tastes like a simpler version of a Pilsner Urquell. It has that clear pilsner "see-through" consistency and pours very smoothly leaving zero head. The aftertaste is a hint of bitterness to it which makes this beer less desirable than some of Kona's other offerings. But it's worth trying when you are here in Hawaii to get a sample of the local beers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 35.5cl. Slightly hazy pale golden, small fizzy off-white head, diminishes quickly, light lacing; malty aroma, grain, orange, strawberrie, floral hops; taste medium sweet and bitter, fruity; light to medium body, watery texture, average carbonation, mild dry aftertaste, crisp finish; maybe a bit thin but pleasant lager.

Pours clear and straw-colored, with barely any head. The aroma is mild, and all I could pick up was a very weak hint of malt. The taste is "pale lager crisp", and bland. The mouthfeel is light and fizzy, like any pale lager.

355 ml bottle. Pours a clear pale golden color with almost no head left. Nose of malts and citrus hops. Quite dry and malty flavour. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A bitter finish with a strange metallic note. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

35 cl bottle. Light yellow color, almost clear, average white head, lagery nose. Aroma of lager malts and floral tones, a leftover of yeast. Light body, soft carbonation, ok dry finish. Good lager.

Clear gold pour. Two finger white head that leaves a little lacing. Nose is toasty, bready malt, citrus peel, and spicy hops. Light and crisp mouthfeel. Taste is malty, but not as robust as the nose indicated. Mostly just fizzy and malty. Mineral notes and faint spicy hop in the finish. Disappointing, but not awful.
