COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Longboard Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for five weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

I had this one a long time ago. If I have the chance to drink it again, I’ll update this rating

355ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour with small fading white head. Caramel malt aroma with a hint of algae or chard or something. Continuous Lager taste on an acceptable niveau with an again minimally vegetable finish (maybe asparagus). Standard with the exception of that interesting vegetable note not really definable for me.

The first smell screamed ’adjunct’. I have a hard time distinguishing this from bud etc.

Wowww...this is very average. A pale straw with a small cap of gross off white looking head. The nose is grainy and corny with a bit of caramel and no hop at all. The taste is similar with a corny water taste and a bit of lemony hop. Light body and no mouthfeel. This isn’t a good brew, but it is still better than the regular macro lager.

Congratulations Kona - you have emulated Miller, inbev et al in producing a boring yellow lager w/ corn, cereal etc. NOt a lot here to write home about.
