COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Longboard Island Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

Tap at brew pub. Light clear golden pour with a big white head. Hay, light grain, bread, citrus. Light body. Easy to drink and well balanced. Nice beer to have in Hawaii

Bottle: The aroma consists of light-moderate cereal notes, light lemon grass, honey, and faint straw. It pours a transparent dull gold with a three finger soapy white head that quickly fades to a thin film. There is some sporadic thin soapy webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of cereal/sweet grains. The finish has light lemon grass with a hint of straw. Itís light bodied with light-moderate carbonation. Overall, Iím just not digging the lemon grass finish.

Leighton (10847) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 18, 2014
Bottle shared during the RBESG 2014 London Grand Tasting - Moncada Brewery. Pours clear yellow-gold with a white cream topping. Pretty standard (if slightly dated) pale lagery stuff, with notes of cereal, faint paper and light bittering hay. Light in body with average carbonation. Finishes with light pale cereal sugars, some straw. So so but condition might not be tops.

Pale yellow, not much head. Grass, butter, citrus. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Slightly better than bulk lagers, but only slightly...
