Longboard Island Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

Didnít get to pour it. Nose: Sweet cereals, california grass, a touch of spearmint, crisp barley. Taste: Slight hop presence that hangs around for the duration, rolled oats, dry malt, cucumber, parsley. Finish is bitter and medium short and contains a touch of soap. Nothing crazy out of balance here and quite drinkable but not one to sing songs about.

12 oz bottle into shaker. Aroma is sweet corn, grain. Pours an extremely pale hazy yellow with a medium dissappearing head and decent lace. Taste is sweet with no bitterness. Pretty bland. Medium carbonation with a creamy mouthfeel. Fairly boring but not bad. No offnotes.

Appearance- This beer poured a pale yellow with a descent size white head. Lacing was present throughout. Smell- It had a nice, clean malty smell too it. Taste- Very good for a lager. Wonderful, refreshing malty flavors with a nice hoppy bitterness which created a nice balance. Mouth Feel- A nice medium body with medium carbonation. Overall- A fantastic lager. I went into this expecting a typical macro style lager but was pleasantly surprised by this beer. Nice light beer with pleanty of flavor. I would love to be sitting on the beaches of Hawaii drinking this one!!

One of the nicest pale lagers Iíve had. I know itís in the "premium" category, but this is as pale as pale gets. It pours a watery pale yellow with a decent white head that disappears quickly. The appearance doesnít inspire confidence. The aroma is fairly decent if not a bit sweetish. Thereís notes of grains, corn, maybe some peaches and a note of spicy hops. The flavor is a little too sweet, but not offensive at all. Hints of noble hops (very light) and mostly some fruity malts and grains. This is an easy drinking lawnmowing beer thatís a good one for hot summer days in the backyard with non beer geek houseguests.

Slightly cloudy light golden color. Aroma is of malts, citrus, wheat, and lemon peels. Flavor is pretty much the same only thereís some coriander present. Leaves a malt and lemon finish. Similar to Landshark.

Hazy yellow beer, white head, looks like a pale lager to me. Some grainy scents with bitter notes. Tastes good for what it is. Grainy taste, light bodies, high carbonation, with a refreshing aftertaste. Premium lager? Yes, I see that. Easy to drink, but forgettable.

[2852-20100426] 355mL bottle. Earthy straw malt grain aroma. Clear, yellow brown body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Grainy straw earth flavour. Medium body. Average.
Overheard: "Has a pleasing wine colour."

Pale straw yellow color with a quickly dissipating head. Looks pretty standard for a pale lager. Not much nose to this one, only a very light fruitiness. Grass and bread aroma at colder temperatures, but some banana fruitiness comes out once it warms up a bit. Itís almost too subtle to be enjoyable though. Light body, thin, fizzy, with a crisp finish. Decent pale lager but, like many beers in its class, it fails to impress the senses.
