Longboard Island Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

On tap in Maui. Pours a yellow straw color with a short lived white head that leaves moderate lacing. Aroma is lightl sweet malt and spicy, herbal hops. Taste is a mild, biscuity, malt sweetness upfront and throughout with a gentle hop bitterness in the finish. Light to medium bodied and crisp.

Light straw-blonde with 1" head and highly carbonated. Not much aroma, but I do perceive light graininess which segues into a flavor that is pleasant and mild fresh grains. Sweetish, grainy finish. Overall, crisp, clean, light, and refreshing.

Draft @ firewaters ac. Light golden pour some white head. Flavor and aroma are decent. Again probably had something to do with getting on draft.

Looks like a pale lager with an ever so slight haze. No head. Smell is a little weird hay like. Very little visible carbonation. Weird initial somewhat fruity flavors. Goes down bitter after the intial flavors make themselves at home. Decent carbonation. Finish is soewhat pilsner bitter and again some what industrial or procesed.

12 ounce bottle, on a recent trip to Hawaii a buddy brought some island brews for me. Served in a Sam Adams BL glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy pale straw gold color with about a half inch white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent. Not much to the aroma, it smells like grain and some lemon and grassy hops. Taste is similar to the aroma, but the flavors are stronger than the aroma would lead you to believe. Mouthfeel/body is light, it has good carbonation and a nice crisp finish. Drinkability is good, it’s easy and enjoyable to drink. For the style, it’s not a bad brew. It would definitely be good on a hot day.

Bottle pour, foamy white head, opaque golden in color, head dissipates quickly. Aromas of sweet malts and some citrus. Nice flavors of smooth malts, some brown sugar hints, nice hops bite, but not overpowering. Body was a little light/watery, finish is crisp. A good brew for a summer party. I like it, especially in the summer at a bbq.

Pours pale yellow into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes at a medium pace. Lemon aromas. Light soft malt upfront turning to a crisp lemon finish. Not much to it, but it doesn’t taste bad...
