Big thanks to tOrinO for opening a bottle of this at the post RS party tasting. Poured into a tasting glass. A - Pours hazy yellow with a light film of head leaving spotty lacing down the glass. S - Some clove, oranges, banana, and some floral hops mix well with the light saison funk. This one smells more like a wit than a saison. T - Flavors are quite similar to the nose with a bit more funk. Some more clove spice, oranges, banana, and floral hops mix well with the light saison funk. A bit more balanced than the nose but still nothing mind blowing. If this wasn’t funky I would swear this is a wit. M - Light body and medium flavor with moderate carbonation. Finish is a mix of hop bitterness and light funk with neither lingering for very long. D - Pretty good. I thought this one was ok. It wasn’t really anything ming blowing but it was still pretty good stuff. Glad I got to try it.

bottle at the 5000 tasting - nice light funkiness, caramel malts and fruity. Very citrusy saison with some nice barnyard notes.

(sampled at Dak’s Memorial Day Tasting!). Pours a cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is citrusy, pepper and spice. Taste is sweet with a slight hop bitterness evident. Medium bodied with an oily texture. Pretty smooth finish. This isn’t a great saison, but it is super easy to drink. Glad to have tried this one.

22oz. bottle tasted at Daknole’s Memorial Day "Throw Down". Pours opaque yellow, with unimpressive white head. Aroma is herbal, spicy and a bit soapy. Taste is bitter, some lemon and spice. Finish is bitter and unremarkable. This ale is a bit bland overall and stands as evidence that not everyone should be brewing saisons.

Hazy honey colored pour with a small ivory head with only a spot of lacing. Aroma and flavor show spice, lemongrass, orange peel, and yeast. Medium mouthfeel.

Cloudy yellow. White head. Lemony, spicy, yeasty. Nice smooth, coriander, orange, light hops. NIce stuff.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden body with a white head. Very spicy body with pepper, yeast tones,a light funk y earth tones. A hint of lemon and light acidity. Soft carbonation with a mild body and a modest spicy tone. Decent offering.

Bottle at Paul and Ryan’s tasting. The aroma is farmhouse, malty sweet. The flavor is funk, light fruit, pepper. The appearance is a hazy gold, white head. The finish is pepper, spicy hops. Decent.
