Pipeline Porter is smooth and dark with a distinctive roasty aroma and earthy complexity from its diverse blends of premium malted barley. This celebration of malt unites with freshly roasted 100% Kona coffee grown at Cornwell Estate on Hawaii’s Big Island, lending a unique roasted aroma and flavor. A delicate blend of hops rounds out this palate-pleasing brew.

Draught. Inky dark brown with small beige foamy head, coffee aroma, low carbonation, thin body, bitter roasted malt taste, long roasted finish. Very nice, but a bit on the burnt side.

Geruch röstig, kaffeeartig, dunkles Malz, leicht säuerlich. Startet dunkelmalzig. Mitte röstig, Kaffee, Schokolade. Abgang bitterschokoladig, röstig, kaum Süße, die eh gestört hätte. Gutes Porter - das ideale Bier während des Rasierens.

(Bottle). Kona coffee aroma. Very deep brown complexion with thin tan head. True coffee flavor with a well roasted mild malt. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thanks to Dave. A mellow, quaffable coffee porter. Smooth and pleasant, with nothing out of place, but not superior.

Bottled 08/27/15. Pours black, small grey/tan head. Aroma is sweet chocolate up front, a slightly estery note, coffee comes in. Chocolate malt heavy. Actually very tasty-smelling. Flavor is equally sweet. Some coffee bitterness, but not a ton. Sweet chocolate. Very weak mouthfeel. kind of lager-like. It’s fine. But I wouldn’t buy it again. I’m a little disappointed, I kind of expected it to be slightly better.

Very delicious porter from a 12oz bottle. The pour was very dark, almost black. The body left a little bit of light through the glass. The nose was deep and rich, with notes of chocolate, coffee, roasted barley and a hint of vanilla. The flavors were rich and delicious, with more coffee and roasted malts tones. There were some hints of dark chocolate, vanilla, cocoa and toasted bread.

Pours a dark brown with a tan head. Aromas of coffee a little chocolate. Nice flavors of coffee and malt sweetness with some chocolate and licorice and some smokiness. A little lacing in the glass. Very nice ale. Thin palate.
