COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pipeline Porter is smooth and dark with a distinctive roasty aroma and earthy complexity from its diverse blends of premium malted barley. This celebration of malt unites with freshly roasted 100% Kona coffee grown at Cornwell Estate on Hawaii’s Big Island, lending a unique roasted aroma and flavor. A delicate blend of hops rounds out this palate-pleasing brew.

Another very good beer from Kona. Sweet and dark with a creamy texture and the roasted coffee aroma and flavor you’d expect.

If you are going to have a coffee infused beer, this is the one to have. I am not a fan of coffe or chocolate infused brews; a good stout already has those flavors. However, this is a great beer, and the Kona Brewing brewhouse and restaurant is the best hangout on the Big Island. Seasonal. (why?)

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks zvikar. Dark brown to black. Aroma of coffee beans, a bit "green". Roasty flavor full of coffee beans. Medium-bodied.

This is a nice, dry and drinkable porter. I don’t know if I’d pin it for having actual coffee included vs. having a roasted character just from grain choice but it does indeed have a nice, rich coffee flavor w/o being a drinking-a-cold-cup-of-coffee overkill. It has a nice creamy mouthfeel and just a touch of bitterness in the finish to keep it honest. I could drink this all day--and maybe I should.

Poured from bottle. Aroma of coffee, cream, nut and soap Solid black, tan head lasts. Flavors of coffee, nut, cola, roasted malt. Feel is weak and watery. Pretty good, could be great with some work.

Good funky English squares aroma. Dark woody toasty. Big time BBQ beer. Put it in the sauce. Marinate the meat and dunk in it. Rich English character. Hawaiian earth. coffee chocolate soy. Nice bitterness with a slight sweetness right after.

Bottle at The Brew Dock. Appearance: Pitch black, tiny tan head. Aroma: Hoppy with a good amount of coffee, malt, chocolate and somewhat creamy, a teeny bit sour. Flavour: Nice chocolate mouthfeel at first with a very well balanced coffee flavour too, rich malty backbone with a nice mellow chocolate and coffee finish. Quite nice.
