COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pipeline Porter is smooth and dark with a distinctive roasty aroma and earthy complexity from its diverse blends of premium malted barley. This celebration of malt unites with freshly roasted 100% Kona coffee grown at Cornwell Estate on Hawaii’s Big Island, lending a unique roasted aroma and flavor. A delicate blend of hops rounds out this palate-pleasing brew.

Not a bad porter; nothing over the top but not bad at all. Could easily see this one going better when it is poured over some vanilla or peanut butter ice cream. Nutty, chocolaty and quite a bit of dark coffee all mixed in. Very easy on the palate and quite the ’chug-able’ brew. Again, not a bad porter.

on tap @ Ei8ht Ball / Bellevue KY --- Aroma of toasted malt and coffee. Clear mahogany brown with a tan head cover, stripes of lace. Taste is bitter toasted malt that adds coffee on the swallow, growing to a finish that hardly needs hops. Solid, particularly at 5.3%.

Opaque, leaves glass clean. Light body, washed out flavor, weak mouthfeel, dilute and short finish. Tart, dry. Light and simple roast flavor, weak coffee, barley candy. Pass. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Geruch röstig, kaffeeartig, dunkles Malz, leicht säuerlich. Startet dunkelmalzig. Mitte röstig, Kaffee, Schokolade. Abgang bitterschokoladig, röstig, kaum Süße, die eh gestört hätte. Gutes Porter - das ideale Bier während des Rasierens.

Thanks to Dave. A mellow, quaffable coffee porter. Smooth and pleasant, with nothing out of place, but not superior.
