Golden color with a quickly evaporating white head. Odd overwhelmingly citrus aroma that is reflected in the flavor. This just doesn’t taste much like beer to me.

The aroma was okay on this one, but everything else was off. The wheat and yeast were esppecially off...both for style and for my taste. Interesting potential.

Pours nice. Clear, golden with good head. Aroma of passion fruit with bread tones.
Taste: the passion fruit isnt bad per se, and even works as a summer shandy type thing. But overall it’s slightly too cloying for my taste. Kinda like pineapple on pizza, fine for a bite but loses appeal quickly. Good beer for weening a wine cooler addict off their sugar water and on too something of slightly higher quality.

12 oz. can, shared at brew club. Thanks to John. Pours a medium white head, over a clear, yellow body.....nose is dominated by fruit tones with a touch of cereal...taste is sweet fruity layers....mouth feel light, carbonation high. This is a simple, unbalanced beer., dominated over much by the fruit. BJCP 6/3/10/4/5

ill be honest-i dont usually like fruit added to american wheat beers. blueberry, raspberry, pomegranate, apricot, whatever. it usually seems to be for the purpose of making a watery flavorless wheat beer have some taste, and usually only makes it worse. but i gotta admit that passionfruit is kind of a winning mix for this style, at least in this instance. a pleasant surprise and a nice summer brew.

Pours a slightly hazy dark golden yellow with a half finger white head that immediately fades into a very thin ring. Not much in the way of lacing.
Slightly earthy aroma with some zesty spice, floral hops, bread and citrus fruit. Hints of pine, pepper and coriander along with hints of lemon and orange peel. I’m not very familiar with passion fruit but there is a somewhat prominent citrus character. All of these characteristics are kind of bland however and the nose isn’t too interesting.
Medium bodied with a balanced of earthy hops, zesty spice, bready yeast and sweet citrus. The hop presence adds a slight dryness and earthy character. This is followed by a strong spice presence that overpowers the other notes. The bready yeast adds to the palate but the spice and passion fruit add an odd, unpleasant metallic flavor that lingers after the finish.

Slightly hazy golden yellow with a thin white head. Tropical fruit and wheat aromas. Flavors match, and feature lemon and yeast. Light body, strong carbonation, and a slight metallic finish.

Pours a hazy apple-juice-golden yellow color with a fizzy-looking yet persistent off-white head. The use of passion fruit is obvious in the aroma, although there is also a dull mossyness and a bit of a metallic character present. The flavor is a light, earthy combination of wheat and yeast, and the tropical fruitiness from the aroma is more muted, being replaced by more of a lemony citrus character. The texture is light without being thin, but the fine, prickly carbonation gets in the way of the light, subtle flavors.
