Oh My God. I go to this brewary every time at christmas, and have always been impressed with thier beers. This is definetly my favorite. Great passion fruit flavor, but not too sweet. Very refreshing wheat beer, goes down easy. I hope this one stays around for a while.

This is a perfect summer beer. A nice golden color, the Wailua Wheat has a subtle aroma of passion fruit to pair with light, citrusy hops. The passion fruit flavor is not overpowering, and is actually very light and refreshing. For a wheat ale, this beer is very flavorful, crisp, and refreshing.

This is a must when that ever so hot summer sun comes out to play. For a wheat beer, it’s as clear as crystal, with just a hint of passion fruit. This is possibly the best summer beer you could have when that temp goes soaring to 100. Not at all what I would call a "fruity beer". It’s also a big hit with the lady’s.

Apperance: light sunny gold, with a short quick head; slight cloudiness. Aroma: very nice aroma; light tropical fruit and fresh wheat bread. Taste: crisp and slightly sweet; fruity and malty with wheat throughout. Finish: short and light, dry/tart/sweet fruit and wheaty bread. Notes: What a surprise! Good carbonation, very nice flavor and a great finish. Extremely session-worthy; very enjoyable. I could drink about a million of these.

No hoppy taste, very smooth, with a citrus finish. You can small the passion fruit. Excellent, might even be one to start someone on who doesn’t like beer.

Poured a golden wheat hue with a decent head. The nose was a bouquet of passion fruit, peaches and floral NW hops. Oddly, I don’t often opt for a fruity wheat beer but this was a huge exception. It was like Hawaiian paradise in a bottle.

I seem to be reviewing a lot of wheat beers lately. ’Tis the season I guess. The passion fruit smells awesome and gives the beer a great aroma, melding well with the slight hop aroma. The fruity taste is good at first, but sort of becomes sour, perhaps too much passion fruit. But hey, one can never have too much passion.

12oz bottle purchased at Hannaford. Pours a crystal-clear light yellow body with a quickly dissipating thin film of off-white head. Smells fruity, similar to grape of plum (presumably the passionfruit). A unique fruitiness dominates the flavor too, though it’s far from overpowering. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. A unique beer for sure, non-offensive, and great for the fruit wheat beer drinker, as it’s one of the better examples I’ve had.
