Bottle from Widmer sampler pack. Pale gold, murky. Sweet nose with citrus. Clean, with a nice wheat flavor. Typical of Kona, solid, not overpowering. Would work well on the beach.

Most people who drink this will get it in bottles from the Craft Beer Tour Sampler. It is easily, easily the weakest of the three brews included. It has a nice sweetness to it, but really doesn’t strike you as anything particularly special...especially when paired with a masterpiece like Widmer Bros Brotha From Anotha Motha or Red Hook’s excellent hoppy blonde (and all credit to them for not calling it a ’blonde ipa’), Blondage. This isn’t a bad wheat beer with some added hoppiness, but it doesn’t taste like anything special. It’s a little hoppier and a little sweeter than your average macrobrew, but I get nothing in the malt or mouthfeel that makes me crave a second. I buy the variety pack containing this beer frequently, and I always have 3 of these left at the very end...

Pours thin white head, cloudy golden body. Strong floral aromas from hops, with notes of some citrus and bread. Taste is mildly sweet, quite bitter for pale ale.

A get a citrusy sweet aroma from this pale hazy crew with a small white head. A bitter sweet slightly citrusy beer light bodied and crisp. For a pale its pretty hazy. There isnt much body. But not a bad brew.

~Strong refreshing citrusy, orange lemon zest aroma, slight piney character, crisp biscuity maltiness. ~Pours a clear golden color with small white disappearing head. ~Hops arent as assertive in flavor as in aroma, but orange is still very present along with the lemon more balanced with biscuity malt characteristics. ~Medium bodied, smooth on palate, medium CO2, long lasting bitter hop finish beckoning for another sip. ~I could drink three of these on a hot day. After three I would get bored and want something else. Good thirst quencher and into hop forward beer for newbies.
