3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a mostly clear copper color with a smallish white head on it. Nose reminds me a lot of a nice IPA, with some great grapefruit elements and some very subtle floral notes. Taste is actually a bit bitter, but well balanced and fresh. Really nice drink.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Btl pours hazy pale yellow with a tight one inch head that fades fast leaving no lace on glass. Smells citrus, tropical fruits and a hint of pine.Tastes of lightly sweet caramel and a little wheat bread, grass, orange, grapefruit and a little lemon.Light body, smooth texture, lively carbonation,a tart twang on the tongue and a dry yet mildly bitter finish. Nice crisp and clean hop flavors, collaborate with the wheat, making a nice easy drinking beer. This would be a good thirst quencher during a hot summer day.

Poured a yellow straw semi-clear color with 3-to-4 fingers of spongy white head. OK layered lacing along the sides. Good retention on the top.
Smelled soapy, pine, mold, wet grass hops, wet Cascade hops, mildew, floral hops, caramel, honey, citrus hops.
Tasted pretty close to the nose. Got lots of different hops in floral, citrus and grass. Still pretty soapy with some pine in there. Caramel and honey as well. Did I mention soap? Didn’t tasted anywhere close to 6.0 percent.
Light body. Creamy texture. Average-to-soft carbonation. Abrupt watery finish.
This beer was OK at times, but not quite good overall. I won’t have another one after the three I have left.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
It calls itself a Hefeizen (Wheat Pale Ale). To me it tastes more like a plain Pale Ale. It’s just ok, but the 6% alcohol content earns a few bonus points.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour is a hazy gold with a large white head. Aroma is citrus hops with lemon-lime. Flavor is a bit of bland malt with a minor citrus. Finish has some fruit like peach but also a bit of soapiness. Not poor but not great also. Needed the hops to stand out more.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle- Pours moderately cloudy with a thin white head. Aroma is nice and citrusy, fruity, fresh and tropical. The taste is very sessionable but doesn’t live up to the aroma, a little grainy, less of all of those nice aromas, little bitterness and a somewhat dry finish. Easy drinking for summer, too bad it’s January.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle from the Craft Brewer Alliance Explorer variety pack bought at WinCo in CDA, ID. Aroma is nice and dank, fresh, with strong notes of pine and tropical fruits. Also some breadiness. Pours pale golden with a light haze; has a two finger white head with good retention. Taste is straight up basic hoppy APA with little wheat presence. It comes through mostly in texture, I guess, with a velvety smoothness. Medium-bodied and highly carbonated. Nice enough, but the wheat is lost in flavor underneath all those hops. They could have made things more interesting by using a traditional Bavarian yeast strain or something.
