COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Morkt Hvidtol is kind of a cross between a beer and a "malz", the German non-alcoholic brew, or Israel’s Birah Schorah. It is very sweet and raisiny, but has a hint of wheat and a hint of cream in the flavour. A nice dessert beer when something high-octane doesn’t suit.

Good aroma of wort in the fragrance. The taste is burnt, a little sweet and malty. Slightly bitter occupying the upper part of the mouth briefly. Intresting good beer. But no thirst quencher like. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Caramel sweet, aroma with grainy and roasty notes. Sweet taste, but not exaggerated. Medium carbonation, sweet, malty finish. Good.

Lettere vandet.

Malty, sweet caramel flavor with a lengthy sweetness. The classic Traditional ale that everyone in Denmark knows and loves.

330 ml bottle at a hostel in Frederiksvaerk. From the bottle. Very sweet, liquorice, bread, sugar, more sweet notes, lactose etc. Horrible.

[4/29/15] Bottle at the AirBnB apartment in Copenhagen. Cola brown color. Sugary malt aroma with caramel, licorice and toast. Sweet flavor with caramel, licorice, a bit of toast. Very light-bodied, kinda fizzy and sticky. Not my thing.

33cl bottle from Føtex, Fredrikshavn. Pours clear dark brow with a small, tan head. Malty and bready with notes of wort, caramel, rye and fermented, dried fruits. Sweet and malty with some reminiscence of Norwegian "vørterøl". Too sweet for enjoying alone, but quite pleasant. Certainly interesting enough.

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2015 En noget kedelig øl. For sød.

Dark brown with red reflections and a tan head. Noses malty and sugary caramel wise. Light CO2 propelled with a lightly slick texture. Light body and really sweet with traces of liquorice and clear brown sugared malt flavours. Has a tick malty bitterness which is though very subtle. Finish is long lasting and sweet. Bit one dimensional but still palatable in case you do not fancy a lemonade or other sweet drinks.
